[Machine] His father came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "What is your name?" I said, "Sadness." He said, "You are easy." He said, "I do not leave her name." Sa'id said, "That is the sadness in us until the hour."  

الطبراني:١٨٠١٦حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَخْرَمُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ ثنا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «مَا اسْمُكَ؟» قُلْتُ حَزْنٌ قَالَ «أَنْتَ سَهْلٌ» قَالَ لَا أَدَعُ اسْمَهَا قَالَ سَعِيدٌ «تِلْكَ الْحُزُونَةُ فِينَا إِلَى السَّاعَةِ»

[Machine] The Prophet PBUH said to his grandfather, "What is your name?" He replied, "Huzn" (meaning sorrow). The Prophet PBUH said, "No, you are Sahl" (meaning ease). He said, "I do not change a name my father gave me." Sa'id said, "So he remained sad among us afterwards."  

ابن حبّان:٥٨٢٢أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِجَدِّهِ «مَا اسْمُكَ»؟ قَالَ «حَزْنٌ» فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «بَلْ أَنْتَ سَهْلٌ» قَالَ لَا أُغَيِّرُ اسْمًا سَمَّانِيهِ أَبِي قَالَ سَعِيدٌ «فَمَا زَالَتْ فِينَا حُزُونَةٌ بَعْدُ»  

حَزْنُ بْنُ أَبِي وَهْبٍ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ

[Machine] His grandfather came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him, "What is your name?" He replied, "Hazn." His grandfather wanted to change his name, so he said, "I would not change a name that my father gave me." His grandfather said, "Sa'id." That grief remained in him until the present hour.
