When any one of you drops a mouthful he should pick it up and remove any of the filth on it, and then eat it, and should not leave it for the Satan, and should not wipe his hand with towel until he has licked his fingers, for he does not know in what portion of the food the blessing lies.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَقَعَتْ لُقْمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَأْخُذْهَا فَلْيُمِطْ مَا كَانَ بِهَا مِنْ أَذًى وَلْيَأْكُلْهَا وَلاَ يَدَعْهَا لِلشَّيْطَانِ وَلاَ يَمْسَحْ يَدَهُ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ حَتَّى يَلْعَقَ أَصَابِعَهُ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَدْرِي فِي أَىِّ طَعَامِهِ الْبَرَكَةُ

That the Prophet ﷺ said: "When one of you eats food, and he drops a pieces of it, then let him remove anything suspicious from it and eat it. Do not leave it for Ash-Shaitan." He said: There is something about this from Anas.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ طَعَامًا فَسَقَطَتْ لُقْمَةٌ فَلْيُمِطْ مَا رَابَهُ مِنْهَا ثُمَّ لْيَطْعَمْهَا وَلاَ يَدَعْهَا لِلشَّيْطَانِ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

“If a morsel falls from the hand of anyone of you, let him wipe off whatever dirt that is on it and eat it.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَقَعَتِ اللُّقْمَةُ مِنْ يَدِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَمْسَحْ مَا عَلَيْهَا مِنَ الأَذَى وَلْيَأْكُلْهَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a morsel of food falls from any of you, then let him wipe the dirt off it, mention the name of Allah, and eat it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا سَقَطَتْ لُقْمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَمْسَحْ عَنْهَا التُّرَابَ وَلْيُسَمِّ اللَّهَ وَلْيَأْكُلْهَا»

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'If a morsel of food falls from any of you, let him pick it up and remove any harm from it, and do not leave it for the devil.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا سَقَطَتْ لُقْمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَأْخُذْهَا وَلْيَمْسَحْ مَا بِهَا مِنَ الْأَذَى وَلَا يَدَعْهَا لِلشَّيْطَانِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If a morsel of food falls down from one of you, let him remove any dirt from it and then eat it, and do not leave it for Satan."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَقَطَتْ لُقْمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيُمِطْ مَا بِهَا مِنَ الْأَذَى وَلْيَأْكُلْهَا وَلَا يَدَعْهَا لِلشَّيْطَانِ

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: If a morsel of food falls from one of you, let him pick it up, remove any harm from it, and eat it, rather than leaving it for the devil.

أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا تَغَوَّطَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَمْسَحْ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If one of you greets (sends blessings upon) someone three times and does not receive a response, then let him return."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا سَلَّمَ أَحَدُكُمْ ثَلَاثًا فَلَمْ يُجَبْ فَلْيَرْجِعْ

[AI] "I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, 'Let one of you ask for permission three times. If he is granted permission, he may enter; otherwise, he should turn back.'"

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ لِيَسْتَأْذِنْ أَحَدُكُمْ ثَلَاثًا فَإِنْ أُذِنَ لَهُ وَإِلَّا فَلْيَرْجِعْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If a morsel of food falls, one of you should remove any dirt from it and eat it, and not leave it for Satan. And wipe your plates, for blessing cannot be determined in which of your meals it will be found."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا سَقَطَتْ لُقْمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيُمِطِ الْأَذَى عَنْهَا وَلْيَأْكُلْهَا وَلَا يَدَعْهَا لِلشَّيْطَانِ وَأَسْلِتُوا الصَّحْفَةَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يُدْرَى فِي أَيِّ طَعَامِكُمْ تَكُونُ الْبَرَكَةُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If one of you seeks permission three times and is not granted it, then he should return."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَ أَحَدُكُمْ ثَلَاثًا وَلَمْ يُؤْذَنْ لَهُ فَلْيَرْجِعْ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If a morsel of any of you falls, let him remove any harm from it and eat it, and not leave it for the Shaytan."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا سَقَطَتْ لُقْمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيُمِطْ مَا كَانَ بِهَا مِنَ الْأَذَى وَلْيَأْكُلْهَا وَلَا يَدَعْهَا لِلشَّيْطَانِ»

" إِذا استأذنَ أحدُكم ثلاثًا فلمْ يُؤذنْ لَهُ فليرجعْ" .

That the Prophet ﷺ said: "When one of you eats food, and he drops a pieces of it, then let him remove anything suspicious from it and eat it. Do not leave it for Ash-Shaitan." He said: There is something about this from Anas. (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1802)

"إِذا أكلَ أحدُكم طعَامًا فسقطتْ لُقْمتُهُ- فْليُمِطْ ما رَابَه مِنها ثم لُيَطْعَمْها ولا يدعْها للشَّيطان".

"إذا سَقَطتْ لُقْمةُ أحدكمْ فليَمْسَحْ عنها التُرابَ وليُسَمّ اللهَ وليأكُلها".

"إذا سَقطت لُقمةُ أحدكم فليُمِطْ ما بها من الأذى وليَأكُلْها ولا يدَعْها للشَّيطانِ، ولا يَمْسحْ يَدَهُ بالمنديل حتى يَلعَقَها أو يُلعِقَها؛ فإِنَّهُ لا يدرى في أي طعامِه البركةُ" .

"إِذَا وقعتْ اللقمةُ مِنْ أحدكُمْ فلْيَأخُذْها فْليُمطْ عَنْها الأذَى، وليأكُلها، ولا يَدعْها للشّيطانِ وليسْلِتْ أحدُكُمْ الصَّحْفَةَ، فإِنّكمْ لا تدْرُون في أيِّ طَعامِكُمْ البركة".
