[Machine] He (upon him be peace) said: "Then let him teach me in the darkness." He (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "So he met him and praised Allah and praised him and said: 'As for the truth, by Allah, there is no lineage, cause, or son-in-law that is dearer to me than your cause, your son-in-law, and your daughter. However, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Fatimah is a part of me, whatever hurts her, hurts me, and whatever pleases her, pleases me. Verily, lineages will be cut off on the Day of Resurrection, except for my lineage, my cause, my son-in-law, and by you is her daughter. If I were to marry her to you, that would be it'." So he went away satisfied.  

لَهُ قُلْ لَهُ فَلْيَلْقَنِي فِي الْعَتَمَةِ قَالَ فَلَقِيَهُ فَحَمِدَ الْمِسْوَرُ اللهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَقَالَ أَمَّا بَعْدُ وَاللهِ مَا مِنْ نَسَبٍ وَلَا سَبَبٍ وَلَا صِهْرٍ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ سَبَبِكُمْ وَصِهْرِكُمْ وَلَكِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَاطِمَةُ مُضْغَةٌ مِنِّي يَقْبِضُنِي مَا قَبَضَهَا وَيَبْسُطُنِي مَا بَسَطَهَا وَإِنَّ الْأَنْسَابَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تَنْقَطِعُ غَيْرَ نَسَبِي وَسَبَبِي وَصِهْرِي وَعِنْدَكَ ابْنَتُهَا وَلَوْ زَوَّجْتُكَ لَقَبَضَهَا ذَلِكَ قَالَ فَانْطَلَقَعَاذِرًا لَهُ  

[Machine] He fulfilled his promise to me in the darkness, so I met him and praised Allah. He said, "There is no cause or lineage or connection that is dearer to me than your lineage and your connection. However, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Fatimah is a part of me, she causes me joy, and whatever causes her joy, causes me joy, and whatever causes her sorrow, causes me sorrow. In the Day of Resurrection, the lineages and connections will be cut off except for my lineage and my connection. And under you is his daughter, and even if I were to marry her to you, her connection would still be preserved. Therefore, he went away with an excuse."  

لَهُ تُوَافِينِي فِي الْعَتَمَةِ فَلَقِيَهُ فَحَمِدَ اللهَ الْمِسْوَرُ فَقَالَ مَا مِنْ سَبَبٍ وَلَا نَسَبٍ وَلَا صِهْرٍ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ نَسَبِكُمْ وَصِهْرِكُمْ وَلَكِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَاطِمَةُ شُجْنَةٌ مِنِّي يَبْسُطُنِي مَا بَسَطَهَا وَيَقْبِضُنِي مَا قَبَضَهَا وَإِنَّهُ يَنْقَطِعُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْأَنْسَابُ وَالْأَسْبَابُ إِلَّا نَسَبِي وَسَبَبِي وَتَحْتَكَ ابْنَتُهَا وَلَوْ زَوَّجْتُكَ قَبَضَهَا ذَلِكَ فَذَهَبَ عَاذِرًا لَهُ  

[Machine] "He said to him, 'Let him come to me in the darkness.' So, he went to him and praised Allah and spoke highly of him. Then he said, 'After that, by Allah, there is no lineage, nor reason, nor in-law that I love more than your lineage, your reason, and your in-law. However, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Fatimah is a part of me; whoever hurts her, hurts me, and whoever pleases her, pleases me. On the Day of Resurrection, lineages will be cut off except for my lineage, reason, and in-laws.' And you have his daughter, and if I were to marry you to her, that would be acceptable. So, go, you are excused.'"  

لَهُ قُلْ لَهُ فَلْيَقْانِي فِي الْعَتَمَةِ قَالَ فَلَقِيَهُ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ الْمِسْوَرُ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَمَا بَعْدُ وَايْمُ اللَّهِ مَا مِنْ نَسَبٍ وَلَا سَبَبٍ وَلَا صِهْرٍ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ نَسَبِكُمْ وَسَبَبِكُمْ وَصِهْرِكُمْ وَلَكِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «فَاطِمَةُ بَضْعَةٌ مِنِّي يَقْبِضُنِي مَا يَقْبِضُهَا وَيَبْسُطُنِي مَا يَبْسُطَهَا وَإِنَّ الْأَنْسَابَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تَنْقَطِعُ غَيْرَ نَسَبِي وَسَبَبِي وَصِهْرِي» وَعِنْدَكَ ابْنَتُهَا وَلَوْ زَوَّجْتُكَ لَقَبَضَهَا ذَلِكَ فَانْطَلَقَ عَاذِرًا لَهُ
