[Machine] "Abu Ali, Amr ibn Malik al-Janbi, narrated to me that he heard Fudalah ibn Ubayd saying that a man entered the prayer, but did not say the tasbih (glorification of Allah) and did not send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ. So, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'You hurried, O worshipper.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught them, and he heard a man praying who praised Allah alone and sent blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ. So, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'O worshipper, ask and you shall be given, and seek help and you shall be aided.'"  

الطبراني:١٥٩٤٦ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَفَّافُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هَانِي

أَنَّ أَبَا عَلِيٍّ عَمْرَو بْنَ مَالِكٍ الْجَنْبِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ يَقُولُ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ فِي صَلَاةٍ فَلَمْ يَحْمَدْ وَلَمْ يُمَجِّدْ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «عَجِلْتَ أَيُّهَا الْمُصَلِّي» ثُمَّ عَلَّمَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَسَمِعَ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي فَحَمِدَ اللهَ وَحْدَهُ وَصَلَّى عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَيُّهَا الْمُصَلِّي ادْعُ تُجَبْ وَسَلْ تُعْطَهُ»

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard a man supplicating during the prayer without glorifying Allah (SWT) nor sending salah upon the Prophet ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'You are in a hurry, O worshipper.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught them. And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard a man praying; he glorified and praised Allah (SWT) and sent salah upon the Prophet ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Supplicate, you will be answered; ask, you will be given.'"  

النسائي:١٢٨٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ حَيْوَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هَانِئٍ

أَنَّ أَبَا عَلِيٍّ الْجَنْبِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ فَضَالَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَجُلاً يَدْعُو فِي صَلاَتِهِ لَمْ يُمَجِّدِ اللَّهَ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَجِلْتَ أَيُّهَا الْمُصَلِّي ثُمَّ عَلَّمَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَسَمِعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَجُلاً يُصَلِّي فَمَجَّدَ اللَّهَ وَحَمِدَهُ وَصَلَّى عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ادْعُ تُجَبْ وَسَلْ تُعْطَ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard a person supplicating during prayer. He did not mention the greatness of Allah, nor did he invoke blessings on the Prophet ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He made haste. He then called him and said either to him or to any other person: If any of you prays, he should mention the exaltation of his Lord in the beginning and praise Him; he should then invoke blessings on the Prophet ﷺ; thereafter he should supplicate Allah for anything he wishes. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1481)   

أحمد:٢٣٩٣٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو هَانِئٍ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ

عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْجَنْبِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ فَضَالَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ صَاحِبَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ سَمِعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَجُلًا يَدْعُو فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ اللهَ ﷻ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَجِلَ هَذَا ثُمَّ دَعَاهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ وَلِغَيْرِهِ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِتَحْمِيدِ رَبِّهِ وَالثَّنَاءِ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ لِيُصَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ثُمَّ لِيَدْعُ بَعْدُ بِمَا شَاءَ
