أَبُو لَبِيدٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ

tabarani:14550 – ʿAlī b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > Muslim b. Ibrāhīm > Saʿīd b. Zayd > al-Zubayr b. Khirrīt > Abū Labīd > ʿUrwah al-Bāriqī

[Machine] It is narrated that the Prophet ﷺ came across a sheep and gave it to someone, along with a dinar, saying, "Buy us a sheep." So the person went and bought two sheep with the dinar. He then met a man who bought one of the sheep from him with a dinar. The person then came to the Prophet ﷺ with a sheep and a dinar. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "May Allah bless your right-hand trade." The person said, "If I were to engage in trading, I would not return to my family until I make a profit of forty thousand."

الطبراني:١٤٥٥٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ثَنَا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ خِرِّيتِ عَنْ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَتَى جلبا فَأَعْطَاهُ دِينَارًا فَقَالَ «اشْتَرِ لَنَا شَاةً» فَانْطَلَقَ فَاشْتَرَى شَاتَيْنِ بِدِينَارٍ فَلَقِيَهُ رَجُلٌ فَبَاعَهُ شَاةً بِدِينَارٍ ثُمَّ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِدِينَارٍ وَشَاةٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «بَارَكَ اللهُ لَكَ فِي صَفْقَةِ يَمِينِكَ» قَالَ فَإِنْ كُنْتُ لَأَقُومُ فِي الْكُنَاسَةِ فَمَا أرْجِعُ إِلَى أَهْلِي حَتَّى أَرْبَحَ أَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفًا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave me a dinar and said, "Buy us a sheep with it." So, I went and bought two sheep with a dinar. Then, a man met me on the way and offered to buy one of the sheep from me. I sold it to him for a dinar. I then went to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, here is your dinar and here is your sheep." The Prophet ﷺ asked, "What did you do?" I informed him, and he said, "O Allah, bless his right hand in his trade." He then said, "I make a living by herding sheep in Kufa, and I will not return to my family until I make a profit of forty thousand."

البيهقي:١١٦١٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا هِلَالُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْعَتَكِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ثنا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ الْخِرِّيتِ عَنْ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ الْبَارِقِيِّ قَالَ

أَعْطَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ دِينَارًا فَقَالَ اشْتَرِ لَنَا بِهِ شَاةً قَالَ فَانْطَلَقْتُ فَاشْتَرَيْتُ شَاتَيْنِ بِدِينَارٍ فَلَقِيَنِي رَجُلٌ فِي الطَّرِيقِ فَسَاوَمَنِي بِشَاةٍ فَبِعْتُهَا بِدِينَارٍ فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَذَا دِينَارُكُمْ وَهَذِهِ شَاتُكُمْ قَالَ فَقَالُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَصَنَعْتَ كَيْفَ؟ قَالَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ فَقَالَ اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُ فِي صَفْقَةِ يَمِينِهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ إِنِّي لَأَقُومُ فِي الْكُنَاسَةِ بِالْكُوفَةِ فَمَا أَرْجِعُ إِلَى أَهْلِي حَتَّى أَرْبَحَ أَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفًا

رَوَاهُ جَمَاعَةٌ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ وَهُوَ أَخُو حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ وَلَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
