The Prophet ﷺ as saying: When the animal at which you shot falls in water, is drowned, and dies, do not eat. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2850)  

الطبراني:١٤٢٩٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ قَالَا ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا وَقَعَتْ رَمِيَّتُكَ فِي مَاءٍ فَغَرِقَ فَلَا تَأْكُلْهُ»
