[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, whenever I throw my arrow at the prey, I find it after three (days or nights)." He (the Prophet) said, "Whenever you find (the prey) with the trace of your arrow on it, unless you find it drowned or rotten."  

الطبراني:١٤٢٩٦حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أَرْمِي الصَّيْدَ فَأَجِدُ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ؟ فَقَالَ «كُلْ مَا وَجَدْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَثَرَ سَهْمِكَ مَا لَمْ تَجِدْ فِيهِ سَبُعًا أَو تَجِدْهُ غَرِقًا»
