[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "A man swore by Allah, there is no deity worthy of worship except Him, falsely, yet He forgave him."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ رَجُلًا حَلَفَ بِاللهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ كَاذِبًا فَغَفَرَ لَهُ»
[Machine] Narrated from the Prophet ﷺ that a man swore falsely by Allah, saying there is no deity except Him and Allah forgave him. Shu'bah said this occurred before the concept of monotheism was revealed.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ رَجُلًا حَلَفَ بِاللهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ كَاذِبًا فَغَفَرَ لَهُ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ مِنْ قَبْلِ التَّوْحِيدِ
("حَلَفَ رَجُلٌ بِاللَّه الَّذِى لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ كَاذِبًا فَعمرَ لَهُ" يعنى من قبل التوحيد".
"إِنَّ رَجُلًا حلفَ باللَّهِ الذى لا إِلهَ إِلا هُوَ كَاذِبًا فَغَفَرَ له ".
