[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I have a black foreign servant girl, and I have a debt on me". He said, "Bring her to me". He then asked her, "Do you testify that there is no god but Allah?" She said, "Yes". He asked her, "Do you testify that I am the Messenger of Allah?" She said, "Yes". He said, "Then free her".  

الطبراني:١٢٣٦٩ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فُرَاتٍ الْقَزَّازُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَالْحَكَمُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ عَلَيَّ رَقَبَةً وَعِنْدِي جَارِيَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ أَعْجَمِيَّةٌ فَقَالَ ائْتِنِي بِهَا فَقَالَ «أَتَشْهَدِينَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ؟» قَالَتْ نَعَمْ قَالَ «أَتَشْهَدِينَ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ؟» قَالَتْ نَعَمْ قَالَ «فَأَعْتِقْهَا»

وَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ عَلَيَّ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً فَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَرَى هَذِهِ مُؤْمِنَةً أَعْتَقْتُهَا فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَتَشْهَدِينَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ؟ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ قَالَ أَتَشْهَدِينَ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ؟ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ قَالَ أَتُؤْمِنِينَ بِالْبَعْثِ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ؟ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ قَالَ أَعْتِقْهَا

[Machine] I came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Indeed, my mother has a slave girl, and I have an Abyssinian slave girl. Should I set her free?" He said, "Bring her to me." Then he asked, "Do you bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah?" She replied, "Yes." He said, "Set her free, for she is a believer."  

الدارمي:٢٣٩٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ الشَّرِيدِ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّ عَلَى أُمِّي رَقَبَةً وَإِنَّ عِنْدِي جَارِيَةً سَوْدَاءَ نُوبِيَّةً أَفَتُجْزِئُ عَنْهَا قَالَ «ادْعُ بِهَا» فَقَالَ أَتَشْهَدِينَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ قَالَ «أَعْتِقْهَا فَإِنَّهَا مُؤْمِنَةٌ»
