[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, when the deceased is buried, he hears the sound of their footsteps as they depart."  

الطبراني:١١١٣٥ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْباعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجُعْفِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ثنا مُسْلِمٌ الضَّبِّيُّ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ إِذَا دُفِنَ سَمِعَ خَفْقَ نِعَالِهِمْ إِذَا وَلَّوْا عَنْهُ مُنْصِرفينَ»

ذِكْرُ سَمَاعِ الْمَيِّتِ عِنْدَ سُؤَالِ مُنْكَرٍ إِيَّاهُ وَقَعَ أَرْجُلِ الْمُنْصَرِفِينَ عَنْهُ، نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الثَّبَاتَ لِذَلِكَ
