" عَنْ خَالِدِ بنِ دُرَيْكٍ قَالَ: قُلتُ لأبِى جُمُعَةَ رجُل مِن الصَّحَابَة حَدِّثْنَا حَديثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِن رسُولِ الله ﷺ قَالَ: أُحَدِّثكَ حَدِيثًا جيِّدًا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رسول الله ﷺ تَغَدَّيْنَا مَع رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ومَعْنَا أبو عبيدة فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ الله ﷺ هَلْ أحَدٌ خَيْر منَّا؟ أسْلَمْنَا مَعَكَ وَجَاهَدنَا مَعَكَ، قَالَ: نَعَمْ قَومٌ يَكُونُون مِنْ بَعْدِى يُؤْمنُونَ بِى وَلَمْ يَرَوْنِى، يَجِدُونَ كِتَابًا بَيْن لَوْحَينِ فَيُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ، وَيُصِّدقُونَ بِهِ، فَهُمْ خَيْر مِنْكُم".

[Machine] Abu Jum'ah narrated to me, she said: "We had breakfast with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and Abu 'Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah was with us. He said, 'O Messenger of Allah, is anyone better than us? We embraced Islam and fought alongside you.' He said, 'Yes, there will be people after you who will believe in me without seeing me.'"

[Machine] I said to Abu Jum'a, a man from the companions, "Tell us a hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah." He said, "Yes, I will tell you a good hadith. We had lunch with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Abu 'Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah was with us. Abu 'Ubaydah said, 'O Messenger of Allah, is anyone better than us? We embraced Islam with you and fought alongside you.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Yes, there will be a people who will believe in me without seeing me, after you.'"
