[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, Allah has divided your manners among you, just as He has divided your provisions among you. Surely, Allah, exalted and glorious, gives the life of this world to whom He loves and whom He does not love, and He gives the religion only to those whom He loves. So, whoever Allah gives the religion, He indeed loves him. By Him in Whose Hand is my life, no servant has true faith until his heart is secure, his tongue is truthful, and his neighbor is safe from his harm."

They asked: "O Messenger of Allah, what are its harms?"

He said: "To shed (forbidden) blood, and to commit injustice. A servant does not accumulate wealth that is obtained unlawfully, then spends from it, except that he is not blessed in it. And a servant does not give charity from it, except that it is not accepted from him. And a servant does not turn his back on his brother (meaning, abandoning or hurting him), except that it will increase his burden in the Fire. Indeed, Allah, exalted and glorious, does not erase evil with evil, but He erases evil with good. The vile one does not erase his vileness."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ قَسَمَ بَيْنَكُمْ أَخْلَاقَكُمْ كَمَا قَسَمَ بَيْنَكُمْ أَرْزَاقَكُمْ وَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ يُعْطِي الدُّنْيَا مَنْ يُحِبُّ وَمَنْ لَا يُحِبُّ وَلَا يُعْطِي الدِّينَ إِلَّا لِمَنْ أَحَبَّ فَمَنْ أَعْطَاهُ اللهُ الدِّينَ فَقَدْ أَحَبَّهُ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَا يُسْلِمُ عَبْدٌ حَتَّى يَسْلَمَ قَلْبُهُ وَلِسَانُهُ وَلَا يُؤْمِنُ حَتَّى يَأْمَنَ جَارُهُ بَوَائِقَهُ قَالُوا وَمَا بَوَائِقُهُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ؟ قَالَ غَشْمُهُ وَظُلْمُهُ وَلَا يَكْسِبُ عَبْدٌ مَالًا مِنْ حَرَامٍ فَيُنْفِقَ مِنْهُ فَيُبَارَكَ لَهُ فِيهِ وَلَا يَتَصَدَّقُ بِهِ فَيُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَلَا يَتْرُكُ خَلْفَ ظَهْرِهِ إِلَّا كَانَ زَادَهُ إِلَى النَّارِ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ لَا يَمْحُو السَّيِّئَ بِالسَّيِّئِ وَلَكِنْ يَمْحُو السَّيِّئَ بِالْحَسَنِ إِنَّ الْخَبِيثَ لَا يَمْحُو الْخَبِيثَ

the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has divided between you your characters just as he has divided between you your provisions. Allah gives worldly ˹provisions˺ to the one He loves and to the one whom He does not love, but He does not faith except to the one He loves."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَسَمَ بَيْنَكُمْ أَخْلَاقَكُمْ كَمَا قَسَمَ بَيْنَكُمْ أَرْزَاقَكُمْ۔ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُعْطِي الدُّنْيَا مَنْ يُحِبُّ وَمَنْ لَا يُحِبُّ وَلَا يُعْطِي الْإِيمَانَ إِلَّا مَنْ يُحِبُّ۔»

[AI] "On the authority of Abdullah, he said, 'They divide the mercy of your Lord.' (Surah Az-Zukhruf, 43:32) Abdullah then said, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, saying, "Indeed, Allah has divided your behaviors amongst you just as He has divided your provisions. Indeed, Allah gives the worldly goods to those whom He loves and those whom He does not love, but does not give the religion except to those whom He loves. عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ {أَهُمْ يَقْسِمُونَ رَحْمَةَ رَبِّكَ نَحْنُ قَسَمْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ} [الزخرف 32] الْآيَةُ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَسَمَ بَيْنَكُمْ أَخْلَاقَكُمْ كَمَا قَسَمَ بَيْنَكُمْ أَرْزَاقَكُمْ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُعْطِي الدُّنْيَا مَنْ أَحَبِّ وَمَنْ لَا يُحِبُّ وَلَا يُعْطِي الدِّينَ إِلَّا مَنْ أَحَبِّ فَمَنْ أَعْطَاهُ الدِّينَ فَقَدْ أَحَبَّهُ»

the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has divided between you your characters just as he has divided between you your provisions. I swear by the One who has the soul of Muḥammad in his Hand, a servant does not have Islam until his heart is in submission, and a servant does not have Islam until his neighbor is safe from his wickedness."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَسَمَ بَيْنَكُمْ أَخْلَاقَكُمْ كَمَا قَسَمَ بَيْنَكُمْ أَرْزَاقَكُمْ۔ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُعْطِي الْمَالَ مَنْ يُحِبُّ وَمَنْ لَا يُحِبُّ، وَلَا يُعْطِي الْإِيمَانَ إِلَّا مَنْ يُحِبُّ۔ فَمَنْ أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ الْإِيمَانَ فَقَدْ أَحَبَّهُ۔ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَا يُسْلِمُ عَبْدٌ حَتَّى يُسْلِمَ قَلْبُهُ وَلَا يُسْلِمُ عَبْدٌ حَتَّى يَأْمَنَ جَارُهُ بَوَائِقَهُ»

«إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قَسَمَ بَيْنَكُمْ أَخْلَاقَكُمْ كَمَا قَسَمَ بَيْنَكُمْ أَرْزَاقَكُمْ وَإِنَّ اللهَ يُعْطِي الْمَالَ مَنْ يُحِبُّ وَمَنْ لَا يُحِبُّ وَلَا يُعْطِي الْإِيمَانَ إِلَّا مَنْ يُحِبُّ فَإِذَا أَحَبَّ اللهُ عَبْدًا أَعْطَاهُ الْإِيمَانَ فَمَنْ ضَمِنَ بِالْمَالِ أَنْ يُنْفِقَهُ وَهَابَ الْعَدُوَّ أَنْ يُجَاهِدَهُ وَاللَّيْلَ أَنْ يُكَابِدَهُ فَلْيُكْثِرْ مِنْ قَوْلِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ»

“Allah ﷻ gives worldly [provisions] to those whom He loves and to those whom He does not love, but He gives religion only to those whom He loves and when Allah loves a servant He grants him faith. So whoever is afraid to fight the enemy, or is terrified of enduring through the night, or is stingy to spend from his wealth, then he should increase [saying] the tasbīh (subhān Allāh), the tahmīd (al-ḥamdu lillāh), and the tahlīl (Allāhu akbar).”

«إِنَّ اللَّهَ ﷻ يُعْطِي الدُّنْيَا مَنْ يُحِبُّ وَمَنْ لَا يُحِبُّ، وَلَا يُعْطِي الدِّينَ إِلَّا مَنْ يُحِبُّ، فَإِذَا أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا أَعْطَاهُ الْإِيمَانَ. فَمَنْ خَافَ الْعُدْوَانَ يُجَاهِدْهُ، وَهَابَ اللَّيْلَ أَنْ يُكَابِدَهُ، وَبَخِلَ بِالْمَالِ أَنْ يُنْفِقَهُ، فَلْيُكْثِرْ مِنَ التَّسْبِيحِ وَالتَّحْمِيدِ وَالتَّهْلِيلِ»

"إِنَّ الله ﷻ قَسَمَ بَينَكُم أَخْلاقَكُمْ كَمَا قَسَمَ بينَكُمْ أرْزَاقَكُمْ، وَإنَّ الله ﷻ يُعْطِي الدُّنْيَا مَن يُحِبُّ، ومَن لَا يُحِبُّ، وَلَا يُعْطِي الدِّين إلا مَنْ أَحَبَّ، فَمَنْ أَعْطَاهُ الدِّينَ فَقَدْ أحَبَّهُ، والذي نَفْسي بِيَدِه لا يُسْلِمُ عَبْدٌ حتى يَسْلَمَ قَلبُهُ ولِسانُهُ، وَلا

يُؤْمِنُ حتَّى يَأمَنَ جَارُهُ بَوَائِقَهُ، قِيلَ: وَمَا بَوائقُه يَا نَبِي الله؟ قال: غَشْمُهُ وظُلْمُهُ وَلَا يَكْسبُ عَبْدٌ مَالًا مِنْ حَرَامٍ فَيُنفقُ مِنْه فَيَبُارَكَ له فِيهِ، وَلا يَتَصَدَّقُ بِهِ فَيُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ ولا يَتْرُكُهُ خَلْفَ ظَهْرِه إلا كَانَ زَادهُ إِلى النَّارِ، إِنَّ الله لَا يَمحو السَّيِّئ بالسَّيِّئ، ولكَنَّهُ يَمْحُو السَّيِّئَ بالْحَسَنِ، إِنَّ الْخِبيثَ لَا يَمْحُو الْخَبيثَ".
