[Machine] "I and Ali were companions during the Battle of Dhul-'Ushayrah. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived at the location and settled there, we noticed some people from the tribe of Mudlij working at a well in their date palm trees. Ali said to me, 'O Abu Al-Yaqzan, do you want to go to them and see what they are doing?' So we approached them and looked at their work for a while. Then sleep overcame us, so Ali and I lay down on some date palm trunks in a dusty area and fell asleep. By Allah, we were not awakened except by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who kicked us with his foot, and we had become covered in dust from that spot. On that day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Ali, 'O Abu Turab, why do you have dust on you?' He replied, 'Shall I inform you about the most miserable of people?'" We said, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, "It is Uhaymir, from the people of Thamud who crippled the she-camel, and the one who will strike you, O Ali, with this," pointing to his horn, "until it marks your face."

Ali said to me, "O Abu Al-Yaqzhan, would you like to go and see what they are doing?" So we went to them and watched their work for a while. Then we felt sleepy and laid down on some palm tree trunks covered with soil. By Allah, only the Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke us up by gently moving us with his foot. We had become dirty with that soil. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "O Abu Turab, for the dust that is seen on you." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shall I inform you about the most wretched men?" We said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Al-Ohaymir, the Thamudite who hamstrung the she-camel, and the one who will harm you, O Ali, with this," and he pointed to his head, meaning the horn, "until blood will come out from it," meaning his beard.

[Machine] I and Ali ibn Abi Talib were companions in a battle. When the Prophet ﷺ arrived and settled, we saw some people from the Bani Mudlij tribe working in a spring or in date palms. Ali said to me, "O Abu Al-Yaqdhan, would you like us to go to them and see what they are doing?" I said, "If you wish, we can go to them and observe their work." So, we went to them and observed their work for a while, then we fell asleep. Later, I and Ali got up and lay down in the shade of palm tree trunks and a mound of sand. We slept, and by Allah, the only one who woke us up was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , who nudged us with his foot. We were covered in the dust that we slept upon. On that day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Ali, "What is wrong with you, O Abu Turab?" referring to the dust on him. Then he said, "Shall I inform you about the most miserable people?" We said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "One of the most miserable people is Uhaymir, the Thamudite, who hamstrung the she-camel and struck you, O Ali, with this (raising his hand to show his forehead) until it bled, and pulled your beard."
