"عَنْ أَبِى نَجِيحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ حُوَيْطِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ العُزَّى قَالَ: كُنَّا جُلُوسًا بِفِنَاءِ الكَعْبةِ فِى الجَاهِليَّةِ، فَأَتَتِ امْرَأَةٌ تَعُوذُ بِهِ مِنْ زَوْجِهَا، فَجَاءَ زَوْجُهَا، فَمَدَّ يَدَهُ إِلَيْهَا، فَيَبِسَتْ يَدُهُ، فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ فِى الجَاهِلِيَّةِ وَإِنَّه لأَشَلُّ".

[Machine] "We were sitting one day in the courtyard of the Kaaba during the pre-Islamic era, when a woman came seeking refuge at the Kaaba from her husband. Her husband arrived and reached out his hand towards her, but his hand became paralyzed. I witnessed this incident during the time of Islam, and indeed he was handicapped."
