"يَا عُقْبَةُ بْنَ عَامِرٍ: إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَقْرَأَ بِسُورَة أحَبَّ إِلى الله، وَلاَ أبْلَغَ عِنْدَهُ مِنْ أنْ تَقْرَأَ " {قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ}، فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أنْ لاَ تَفُوتَكَ فِى صَلاَةٍ فَافْعَلْ".
"I followed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he was riding, and I placed my hand on his foot and said : O Messenger of Allah, teach me Surah Hud and Surah Yusuf. He said: 'You will never recite anything greater before Allah than: "Say: I seek refuge with (Allah), the Lord of the daybreak." And "Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind.'"
اتَّبَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ رَاكِبٌ فَوَضَعْتُ يَدِي عَلَى قَدَمِهِ فَقُلْتُ أَقْرِئْنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ سُورَةَ هُودٍ وَسُورَةَ يُوسُفَ فَقَالَ لَنْ تَقْرَأَ شَيْئًا أَبْلَغَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ { قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ } وَ { قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ }
"I came to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] while he was riding, and I put my hand on his foot and said: 'Teach me Surah Hud, teach me Surah Yusuf. He said: 'You will never recite anything more precious before Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, than: 'Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of the daybreak.'"
أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ رَاكِبٌ فَوَضَعْتُ يَدِي عَلَى قَدَمِهِ فَقُلْتُ أَقْرِئْنِي سُورَةَ هُودٍ أَقْرِئْنِي سُورَةَ يُوسُفَ فَقَالَ لَنْ تَقْرَأَ شَيْئًا أَبْلَغَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ ﷻ مِنْ { قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ }
[AI] He heard Uqbah ibn Amir saying, "I held onto the foot of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, teach me Surah Hud and Surah Yusuf.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, 'O Uqbah, you will never recite a Surah from the Qur'an that is more beloved to Allah and more comprehensive before Him than Qul a'udhu bi Rabbil-Falaq (Surah Al-Falaq).' Yazid said, 'Abu Imran used to not leave it. He would continue reciting it in the Maghrib prayer.'"
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ تَعَلَّقْتُ بِقَدَمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَقْرِئْنِي سُورَةَ هُودٍ وَسُورَةَ يُوسُفَ فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يَا عُقْبَةُ إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَقْرَأَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ سُورَةً أَحَبَّ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَلَا أَبْلَغَ عِنْدَهُ مِنْ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ» قَالَ يَزِيدُ «فَلَمْ يَكُنْ أَبُو عِمْرَانَ يَدَعُهَا كَانَ لَا يَزَالُ يَقْرَؤُهَا فِي صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ»

So the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said to me, "O Uqbah bin Amir, you have not recited a Surah that is more beloved to Allah and more comprehensive in its meaning than 'Say: I seek refuge with (Allah), the Lord of the daybreak.'" He said, "Abu Imran would never leave it, and he would always recite it in the Maghrib prayer."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَقْرَأَ سُورَةً أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ وَلَا أَبْلَغَ مِنْ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَنْ لَا تَدَعَهَا فِي صَلَاةٍ فَافْعَلْ»
