Al-Mustawrid heard the Prophet ﷺ say: He who acts as an employee for us must get a wife; if he has not a servant, he must get one, and if he has not a dwelling, he must get one. He said that Abu Bakr reported: I was told that the Prophet ﷺ said: He who takes anything else he is unfaithful or thief.

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ كَانَ لَنَا عَامِلاً فَلْيَكْتَسِبْ زَوْجَةً فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ خَادِمٌ فَلْيَكْتَسِبْ خَادِمًا فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَسْكَنٌ فَلْيَكْتَسِبْ مَسْكَنًا قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أُخْبِرْتُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ فَهُوَ غَالٌّ أَوْ سَارِقٌ

[AI] I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Whoever has responsibility over our affairs but does not have a place to live, let him take a place to live. And whoever does not have a spouse, let him get married. And whoever does not have a servant, let him take a servant. And whoever does not have a means of transportation, let him acquire a means of transportation. And whoever gains anything other than that, it is excess."

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ وَلِيَ لَنَا عَمَلًا وَلَيْسَ لَهُ مَنْزِلٌ فَلْيَتَّخِذْ مَنْزِلًا أَوْ لَيْسَتْ لَهُ زَوْجَةٌ فَلْيَتَزَوَّجْ أَوْ لَيْسَ لَهُ خَادِمٌ فَلْيَتَّخِذْ خَادِمًا أَوْ لَيْسَتْ لَهُ دَابَّةٌ فَلْيَتَّخِذْ دَابَّةً وَمَنْ أَصَابَ شَيْئًا سِوَى ذَلِكَ فَهُوَ غَالٌّ

[AI] I heard the Prophet of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever has the means and does not have a spouse, let them get married. And if they cannot get married, then let them have a servant. And if they cannot have a servant, then let them have a house or a riding animal. And whoever acquires anything else besides that, then they are extravagant or a thief."

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever has the ability to marry should get married, and whoever does not have the ability to marry should fast. Whoever does not have a house should seek shelter, and whoever does not have a means of transportation should seek a ride. Therefore, whoever goes beyond these limits is extravagant or a thief."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ وَلِيَ لَنَا عَمَلًا فَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ زَوْجَةٌ فَلْيَتَزَوَّجْ أَوْ خَادِمٌ فَلْيَتَّخِذْ خَادِمًا أَوْ مَسْكَنٌ فَلْيَتَّخِذْ مَسْكَنًا أَوْ دَابَّةٌ فَلْيَتَّخِذْ دَابَّةً فَمَنْ أَصَابَ سِوَى ذَلِكَ فَهُوَ غَالٌّ أَوْ سَارِقٌ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever has the means should marry, and if he does not have a servant, then he should strive to acquire one. And whoever does not have a home should strive to acquire one."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ كَانَ لَنَا عَامِلًا فَلْيَكْتَسِبْ زَوْجَةً فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ خَادِمٌ فَلْيَكْتَسِبْ خَادِمًا وَمَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَسْكَنٌ فَلْيَكْتَسِبْ مَسْكَنًا»

"مَنْ كان لنَا عَاملًا فلمْ يكُنْ لهُ زَوْجَةٌ فلْيَكْتِسبْ زوْجَةً، فإِنْ لمْ يَكُنْ لهُ خادمٌ، فلْيَكْتسبْ خادمًا، فإنْ لمْ يَكُنْ لهُ مَسْكنٌ فلْيَكْتسبْ مَسْكنًا، مَن اتخذ غيرَ ذلِك فهُوَ غالٌّ أَوْ سَارِقٌ".
