السيوطي:٢١٤-١b –

" عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الحَارِثِ الْغَامِدِىِّ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لأَبِى وَنَحْنُ بِمِنًى: مَا هذِهِ الْجَمَاعَةُ؟ قَالَ: هَؤُلَاءِ قَوْمٌ اجْتَمَعُوا عَلَى صَابِئٍ (*) لَهُمْ فَشَرَفْنَا (* *)، فَإِذَا بِرَسُولِ الله ﷺ يَدْعُو النَّاسَ إِلَى تَوْحِيد الله وَالإِيمَانِ بِهِ، يَرُدُّونَ عَلَيْهِ قَوْلَهُ وَيُوَهِّمُونَهُ (* * *) حَتَّى ارْتَفَعَ النَّهَارُ وَانصدَعَ عَنْهُ النَّاسُ، وَأَقْبَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ قَدْ بِدَا نَحْوُها (* * * *) تَبْكِى تَحمِلُ قَدَحًا فِيهِ مَاءٌ وَمِنْدِيلًا، فَتَنَاوَلَهُ مِنْهَا وَشَرِبَ وَتَوَضَّأَ، ثُمَّ رَفعَ رَأسَهُ إِلَيْهَا، فَقَالَ: يَا بُنَيَّةُ! خَمَّرِى عَلَيْكِ نَحْرَكِ وَلَا تَخَافِى عَلَى أَبِيكِ غَلَبَةً وَلَا ذُلّا، فَقُلْنَا: مَنْ هَذِهِ؟ قَالُوا: هَذِهِ زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُهُ".

[Machine] "These people gathered around a pagan idol. Then suddenly, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ appeared and called the people to believe in the oneness of Allah. The Prophet ﷺ took it from her, drank from it, performed ablution, and then raised his head towards her and said, 'O my daughter, cover your neck and do not fear any harm for your father.' I asked, 'Who is she?' They said, 'She is Zainab, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.'"

[Machine] "These people have gathered around their idol," he said, "so we descended and behold, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would call the people to the unity of Allah ﷻ and faith in Him, and they would reject him and harm him until midday. Then people started to disperse and a woman approached with her hair disheveled, carrying a cup and a napkin. He took them from her, drank, performed ablution, raised his head and said, 'O my daughter, cover your neck with your scarf and do not worry about your father.' We asked, 'Who is this?' They said, 'His daughter Zainab.'"
