When a man enters his house and mention Allah’s name on entering and on his food, the devil says: You have no place to spend the night and no evening meal; but when he enters without mentioning Allah’s name on entering, the devil says: You have found a place to spend the night, and when he does not mention Allah’s name at his food, he says: You have found a place to spend the night and an evening meal. "إِذا دَخَلَ الرجلُ بيتَهُ فذكر اسْمَ اللهِ تعالى، حينَ يدْخُلُ وحينَ يَطعَمُ، قال الشيطانُ: لَا مَبِيتَ لكم ولا عشاءَ هَهُنا، وإنْ دخَلَ فلَمْ يذكرِ اسْمَ اللهِ عندَ دخُولهِ قال الشيطانُ: أدْرَكتم المبيتَ، وإنْ لَمْ يذكرِ اسمَ اللهِ عند مطعمِه قال: أدركتُم المبيتَ والعَشَاء" .

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "When a man enters his house, he should greet (salute) and a believer eats from one dish?” He said, "Yes," and I asked Jabir, "Did you hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, ‘When a man enters his house, he should mention the name of Allah upon entering and when eating?’" He said, "The devil does not stay where you say the name of Allah and if he enters without mentioning Allah's name, he says to him, ‘You have not entertained nor had dinner here.’" He said, "Have you not witnessed that if he forgot to say Allah's name before he enters the house, Satan says to him, ‘You have not entertained tonight.’" He said, "Yes."
