[Machine] Come to what you have accepted, O Abu Hazim. Should I not inform you about the words of Abu Hanifah from the Prophet ﷺ that he said, "To perform the Fajr prayer and sit in a gathering remembrance of Allah ﷻ until the sun rises is more beloved to me than fighting in the cause of Allah ﷻ on the backs of horses."
أَقْبِلْ عَلَى مَا قَبِلْتَ عَلَيْهِ يَا أَبَا حَازِمٍ أَلَا أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنْ أَبِي عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَأَنْ أُصَلِّيَ الصُّبْحَ ثُمَّ أَجْلِسَ فِي مَجْلِسٍ أَذْكُرُ اللهَ ﷻ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ شَدٍّ عَلَى جِيَادِ الْخَيْلِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ﷻ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I would rather pray Fajr and then sit in my gathering and remember Allah until the sun rises, than to have the best horses in the cause of Allah." Thus spoke Ad-Dabariyy Ayyash, and indeed it was Abbas.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَأَنْ أُصَلِّيَ الصُّبْحَ ثُمَّ أَجْلِسَ مَجْلِسِي فَأَذْكُرَ اللهَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ شَدٍّ عَلَى جِيَادِ الْخَيْلِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ» هَكَذَا قَالَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَيَّاشٌ وإِنَّمَا هُوَ عَبَّاسٌ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I would rather bear witness to dawn and then sit and remember Allah until the sun rises, than to ride horses in the cause of Allah until the sun rises."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَأَنْ أَشْهَدَ الصُّبْحَ ثُمَّ أَجْلِسَ أَذْكُرُ اللهَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَحْمِلَ عَلَى جِيَادِ الْخَيْلِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ»
"لأنْ أُصَلِّى الْصُّبْحَ ثُمَّ أقْعُدَ فِي مَجْلَسِى أَذْكُرُ الله حَتَّى تَطْلَعَ الْشَّمْسُ أحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا تَطلُعُ عَلَيهِ الشَّمْسُ وَتَغْرُبُ".
