The Prophet ﷺ said: When one of you eats, he must not eat from the top of the dish, but should eat from the bottom; for the blessing descends from the top of it.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَأْكُلْ مِنْ أَعْلَى الصَّحْفَةِ وَلَكِنْ لِيَأْكُلْ مِنْ أَسْفَلِهَا فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ مِنْ أَعْلاَهَا

That the Prophet ﷺ said: "Indeed the blessing descends to the middle of the food, so eat from its edges, and do not eat from its middle."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ وَسَطَ الطَّعَامِ فَكُلُوا مِنْ حَافَتَيْهِ وَلاَ تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ وَسَطِهِ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was presented with a handful or a piece of bread, and he said, 'Eat from its edges or sides and do not eat from its center, for blessings descend in its center.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِجَفْنَةٍ أَوْ قَالَ قَصْعَةٍ مِنْ ثَرِيدٍ فَقَالَ كُلُوا مِنْ حَافَاتِهَا أَوْ قَالَ جَوَانِبِهَا وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ وَسَطِهَا فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ فِي وَسَطِهَا

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "Eat from the edges of the dish and do not eat from the middle, for indeed blessing descends in the middle of it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كُلُوا فِي الْقَصْعَةِ مِنْجَوَانِبِهَا وَلا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ وَسَطِهَا فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ فِي وَسَطِهَا

[AI] "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ was brought a plate of bread, and he said: 'Eat from around it and do not eat from its center, for blessings descend in its center.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِقَصْعَةٍ مِنْ ثَرِيدٍ فَقَالَ كُلُوا مِنْ حَوْلِهَا وَلا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ وَسَطِهَا فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ فِي وَسَطِهَا

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ was brought a dish of Tharid and he said, 'Eat from around it and do not eat from its middle, for blessings descend in the middle of it.' Ibn Ja'far said, 'Or from its sides or from its edges.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِقَصْعَةٍ مِنْ ثَرِيدٍ فَقَالَ كُلُوا مِنْ حَوْلِهَا وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ وَسْطِهَا فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ فِي وَسْطِهَا قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ مِنْ جَوَانِبِهَا أَوْ مِنْ حَافَتَيْهَا

That the Prophet ﷺ said: "Indeed the blessing descends to the middle of the food, so eat from its edges, and do not eat from its middle." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1805)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ فِي وَسَطِ الطَّعَامِ فَكُلُوا مِنْ حَافَّاتِهِ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ وَسَطِهِ»

عَنِ النَّبِيّ ﷺ؛ أَنَّه أُتِيَ بِقَصْعَةٍ مِنْ ثَرِيدٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ كُلُوا مِنْ جَوَانِبِهَا أَوْ مِنْ حَافَّتَيْهَا ولاَ تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ وَسَطِهَا فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَكُونُ فِي وَسَطِهَا

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ was brought a plate containing a portion of bread, so he said, "Eat from its sides and do not eat from its middle, for the blessing descends in its middle."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أُتِي بِقَصْعَةِ ثَرِيدٍ فَقَالَ «كُلُوا مِنْ جَانِبَيْهَا وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ وَسَطِهَا فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ فِي وَسَطِهَا»

[AI] The Prophet, ﷺ , was brought a plate of bread and he said, "Eat from its edges and do not eat from its middle, for the blessings descend in the middle."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِقَصْعَةٍ مِنْ ثَرِيدٍ فَقَالَ «كُلُوا مِنْ جَوَانِبِهَا وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ وَسَطِهَا؛ فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ فِي وَسَطِهَا»

أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِقَصْعَةٍ مِنْ ثَرِيدٍ فَقَالَ كُلُوا مِنْ جَوَانِبِهَا وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ وَسَطِهَا فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ فِي وَسَطِهَا

"اجلِسُوا، كلوا باسمِ اللهِ، كلوا من جوانِبها، ولا تأكلوا من فَوقِها، فإن البرَكة تنزِلُ من فوقِها".

"اجلسوا، اذكرُوا اسمَ الله وكلوا من أسْفَلِها، ولا تأكلوا من أعلاهَا فإنَّ البَرَكة تنزلُ منْ أَعْلَاهَا".

The Prophet ﷺ said: When one of you eats, he must not eat from the top of the dish, but should eat from the bottom; for the blessing descends from the top of it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3772)

"إذا أكلَ أحدُكم طعامًا فلا يأكلْ من أعلى الصحفِة، ولكن ليأكل من أسفَلهِا فإن البركة تنزل من أعلاها".

"كُلُوا، وَكُلُوا مِنْ أسْفَلِهَا وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ أَعْلاهَا، فَإِنَّ البَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ مِنْ أَعْلاهَا".

"كُلُوا فِي الْقَصْعَة مِنْ جَوَانبهَا، وَلَا تأْكُلُوا مِنْ وَسَطِها، فإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ فِي وَسَطِهَا".
