"عَلَيكُمْ بِقِيام اللَّيل، فَإِنَّهُ دأْبُ الصَّالِحِينَ قبَلكُمْ، ومَقْربَةٌ إِلَى اللهِ، ومَرضَاةٌ لِلربِّ، ومَكْفَرَةٌ لِلسَّيِّئَاتِ، ومَنْهَاةٌ عَنِ الإِثْم ومَطْرَدَةٌ للِدَّاءِ عَن الْجَسَدِ".
“Ishaq bin Mansur narrated to us, from Isra’il” with this (Another chain) Bilal narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Hold fast to Qiyam al-Lail, for it is the practice of the righteous before you, and indeed Qiyam al-Lail is a means of nearness to Allah, a means of prevention from sin, an expiation for bad deeds, and a barrier for the body against disease.”
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِقِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ فَإِنَّهُ دَأْبُ الصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَكُمْ وَإِنَّ قِيَامَ اللَّيْلِ قُرْبَةٌ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَمَنْهَاةٌ عَنِ الإِثْمِ وَتَكْفِيرٌ لِلسَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَطْرَدَةٌ لِلدَّاءِ عَنِ الْجَسَدِ
“Ishaq bin Mansur narrated to us, from Isra’il” with this (Another chain) Bilal narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Hold fast to Qiyam al-Lail, for it is the practice of the righteous before you, and indeed Qiyam al-Lail is a means of nearness to Allah, a means of prevention from sin, an expiation for bad deeds, and a barrier for the body against disease.” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3549)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «عَلَيْكُمْ بِقِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ فَإِنَّهُ دَأَبُ الصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَكُمْ وَهُوَ قُرْبَةٌ لَكُمْ إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ وَمُكَفِّرٌ لِلسَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَنْهَاةٌ عَنِ الْإِثْمِ»
[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "You should observe the night prayer, for it was the practice of the righteous before you. It brings you closer to your Lord, expiates your sins, and prevents you from committing evil."
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «عَلَيْكُمْ بِقِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ فَإِنَّهُ دَأْبُ الصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَكُمْ وَهُوَ قُرْبَةٌ لَكُمْ إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ وَمَكْفَرَةٌ لِلسَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَنْهَاةٌ عَنِ الْإِثْمِ»
أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ أَظُنُّهُ يَزِيدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ ؓ
“Ishaq bin Mansur narrated to us, from Isra’il” with this (Another chain) Bilal narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Hold fast to Qiyam al-Lail, for it is the practice of the righteous before you, and indeed Qiyam al-Lail is a means of nearness to Allah, a means of prevention from sin, an expiation for bad deeds, and a barrier for the body against disease.” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3549)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «عَلَيْكُمْ بِقِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ فَإِنَّهُ دَأَبُ الصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَكُمْ ومَقْرُبَةٌ لَكُمْ إِلَى اللهِ ﷻ وَمَكْفَرَةٌ لِلسَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَنْهَاةٌ عَنِ الْإِثْمِ وَمَطْرَدَةُ الدَّاءِ عَنِ الْجَسَدِ»
[Machine] "On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: 'Upon you is to establish the night prayer, for it is the habit of the righteous before you, and it is a means of drawing near to your Lord, and it expiates sins and prevents wrongdoing, as mentioned in this narration.'"
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِقِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ فَإِنَّهُ دَأَبُ الصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَكُمْ وَهُوَ قُرْبَةٌ لَكُمْ إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ وَمَكْفَرَةٌ لِلسَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَنْهَاةٌ عَنِ الْإِثْمِ كَذَا فِي هَذِهِ الرِّوَايَةِ

"عَلَيكُمْ بِقيَامِ اللَّيلِ، فَإِنَّهُ دأبُ الصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلكُمْ، وإنَّ قِيَامَ اللَّيلِ قُربَةٌ إِلى اللهِ، ومَنْهاةُ عنِ الإِثْمِ، وتَكْفِيرٌ للسَّيئَاتِ، ومَطْرَدَةٌ للدَّاءِ عَن الْجَسَدِ".

"عَلَيكم بِقِيام اللَّيلِ؛ فَإِنَّهُ دَأْبُ الصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَكُمْ، وهو قُرْبة إِلى ربِّكُمْ، وَمَكْفَرَةٌ للسَّيِّئَاتِ".
