"ذَاكَ نَهْرٌ أَعطَانِيه اللَّهُ -يعنى الكَوْثَرَ- أَشَدُّ بياضًا مِنَ اللبنِ وأَحْلَى من العَسَلِ، فيه طَيْرٌ أَعْنَاقُها كَأَعْنَاقِ الجزُرِ -قال عمر: إِنَّ هذه لناعمة، فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ : "آكلها أَنْعَمُ مِنْها".
"What is Al-Kawthar?" He said: "That is a river that Allah has given me"- that is, in Paradise- 'whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. In it are birds whose necks are like the necks of camels." 'Umar said: "Indeed this is plump and luxurious then." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Those who consume it are more plumb than it."
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا الْكَوْثَرُ قَالَ ذَاكَ نَهْرٌ أَعْطَانِيهِ اللَّهُ يَعْنِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَشَدُّ بَيَاضًا مِنَ اللَّبَنِ وَأَحْلَى مِنَ الْعَسَلِ فِيهَا طَيْرٌ أَعْنَاقُهَا كَأَعْنَاقِ الْجُزُرِ قَالَ عُمَرُ إِنَّ هَذِهِ لَنَاعِمَةٌ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَتُهَا أَنْعَمُ مِنْهَا
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about Al-Kawthar, and he replied, "It is a river that Allah has granted me in Paradise. Its soil is musk, its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. Its birds have necks like the necks of camels." Abu Bakr said, "O Messenger of Allah, it is certainly a great blessing." He replied, "Its drinker is more blessed than it."
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْكَوْثَرِ فَقَالَ هُوَ نَهَرٌ أَعْطَانِيهِ اللهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ تُرَابُهُ الْمِسْكُ مَاؤُهُ أَبْيَضُ مِنَ اللَّبَنِ وَأَحْلَى مِنَ الْعَسَلِ تَرِدُهُ طَيْرٌ أَعْنَاقُهَا مِثْلُ أَعْنَاقِ الْجُزُرِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّهَا لَنَاعِمَةٌ فَقَالَ آَكِلُهَا أَنْعَمُ مِنْهَا
[Machine] He informed him that a man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "What is Al-Kawthar?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is a river that Allah has given me in Jannah. It is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey, and it has birds with necks like the necks of camels." Umar ibn Al-Khattab said, "It is a bounty for us, O Messenger of Allah." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Those who eat from it will be even more blessed than it."
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَا الْكَوْثَرُ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ هُوَ نَهَرٌ أَعْطَانِيهِ اللهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَبْيَضُ مِنَ اللَّبَنِ وَأَحْلَى مِنَ الْعَسَلِ فِيهِ طُيُورٌ أَعْنَاقُهَا كَأَعْنَاقِ الْجُزُرِ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ إِنَّهَا لَنَاعِمَةٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ آكِلُوهَا أَنْعَمُ مِنْهَا
[Machine] "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ was asked about Al-Kawthar, so he said: it is a river that my Lord has granted me, whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. And in it are birds with necks like camels' humps. Then Umar said: O Messenger of Allah, those birds must be tender. So he said: Indeed, the ones who will eat from them are even more tender, O Umar."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْكَوْثَرِ فَقَالَ نَهَرٌ أَعْطَانِيهِ رَبِّي أَشَدُّ بَيَاضًا مِنَ اللَّبَنِ وَأَحْلَى مِنَ الْعَسَلِ وَفِيهِ طَيْرٌ كَأَعْنَاقِ الْجُزُرِ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ تِلْكَ لَطَيْرٌ نَاعِمَةٌ فَقَالَ أَكَلَتُهَا أَنْعَمُ مِنْهَا يَا عُمَرُ
"What is Al-Kawthar?" He said: "That is a river that Allah has given me"- that is, in Paradise- 'whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. In it are birds whose necks are like the necks of camels." أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا الْكَوْثَرُ؟ قَالَ «نَهْرٌ أَعْطَانِيهِ رَبِّي فِي الْجَنَّةِ هُوَ أَشَدُّ بَيَاضًا مِنَ اللَّبَنِ وَأَحْلَى مِنَ الْعَسَلِ فِيهِ طُيُورٌ أَعْنَاقُهَا كَأَعْنَاقِ الْجُزُرِ» قَالَ عُمَرُ ؓ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّهَا لَنَاعِمَةٌ قَالَ «آكِلُهَا أَنْعَمُ مِنْهَا»

"أعطيتُ نهرًا في الجنَّةِ يقالُ لَهُ الكوْثَرُ: ماؤه أشد بياضًا مِنَ اللبنِ، وأحْلَى مِنَ العسلِ، وأليَنُ من الزُّبدِ، فيه طيورٌ: أعناقُها كالجُزُرِ قال عمر: إنَّها لناعمةٌ: قال: أكْلهُا أَنْعَمُ مِنهَا".
"عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ: أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ فِى الكَوْثَرِ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ : هُوَ نَهْرٌ أعْطَانِيهِ ربي أَشَدُّ بَيَاضًا مِنَ اللبنِ، وَأَحْلَى مِنَ العَسَلِ فيها طُيُورٌ أَعْنَاقُهَا كَأَعْنَاقِ الجُزُرِ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بنُ الخَطَّابِ: إِنَّهَا يَا رَسُولَ الله لَنَاعِمَةٌ، قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ: آكِلُهَا أَنْعَمُ مِنْهَا".
