The Prophet ﷺ said, "Commit yourself to the Qur'an, for by Him in whose Hand is my soul, it is surely more prone to break away than a camel in its bind.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ تَعَاهَدُوا الْقُرْآنَ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنَ الإِبِلِ فِي عُقُلِهَا

Keep refreshing your knowledge of the Qur'an, for I swear by Him in Whose Hand is the life of Mahammad that it is more liable to escape than camels which are hobbled.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ تَعَاهَدُوا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَلُّتًا مِنَ الإِبِلِ فِي عُقُلِهَا وَلَفْظُ الْحَدِيثِ لاِبْنِ بَرَّادٍ

The Prophet ﷺ said: "It is not right for any one of you to say: 'I have forgotten such and such a verse.' Rather, he has been caused to forget. Study the Qur'an, for it escapes from the heart of man faster than a camel escapes from its fetter. " (Using translation from Nasāʾī 943)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ بِئْسَمَا لِأَحَدِكُمْ أَنْ يَقُولَ نَسِيتُ آيَةَ كَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ بَلْ هُوَ نُسِّيَ وَاسْتَذْكِرُوا الْقُرْآنَ فَإِنَّهُ أَسْرَعُ تَفَصِّيًا مِنْ صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ مِنَ النَّعَمِ مِنْ عُقُلِهَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Learn the Book of Allah, abide by its teachings, sing its verses, and recite it frequently. I swear by the One in whose hand is my soul, or by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, it is harder to deviate from the right path than the pain of giving birth in the intellect."

«قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ» تَعَلَّمُوا كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَتَعَاهَدُوهُ وَتَغَنَّوْا بِهِ وَاقْتَنُوهُ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ أَوْ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَلُّتًا مِنَ الْمَخَاضِ فِي الْعُقُلِ

[AI] The phrase translates to: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Learn the Quran, memorize it, keep it close, and let it be a source of enrichment for you. By the One in whose hand is my soul, it is more prone to slipping away from one's intellect than a difficult birth."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «تَعَلَّمُوا كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَتَعَاهَدُوهُ وَاقْتَنُوهُ وَتَغَنَّوْا بِهِ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَلُّتًا مِنَ الْمَخَاضِ فِي الْعُقُلِ»

[AI] "The Quran is more detailed than the chests of men and more delightful than blessings from one's intellect," He said. And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "None of you should say, 'I have forgotten a verse' when indeed it is forgotten."

الْقُرْآنَ فَلَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنْ صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ مِنَ النَّعَمِ مِنْ عُقُلِهِ قَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ لَا يَقُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ إِنِّي نَسِيتُ آيَةَ كَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ بَلْ هُوَ نُسِّيَ

The Prophet ﷺ said: "It is not right for any one of you to say: 'I have forgotten such and such a verse.' Rather, he has been caused to forget. Study the Qur'an, for it escapes from the heart of man faster than a camel escapes from its fetter. " (Using translation from Nasāʾī 943)

عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ تَعَاهَدُوا الْقُرْآنَ فَإِنَّهُ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنْ صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ مِنَ النَّعَمِ مِنْ عُقُلِهَا بِئْسَمَا لِأَحَدِهِمْ أَنْ يَقُولَ نَسِيتُ آيَةَ كَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ بَلْ هُوَ نُسِّيَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Learn the Book of Allah, hold onto it, and recite it, for I swear by the One in whose hand is my soul, it is more deviant than the throes of childbirth in the intellect."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَعَلَّمُواكِتَابَ اللهِ وَتَعَاهَدُوهُ وَتَغَنُّوا بِهِ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَلُّتًا مِنَ الْمَخَاضِ فِي الْعُقُلِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Hold steadfast to the Quran, for it slips away from the hearts of men more quickly than a camel from its rope."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَعَاهَدُوا الْقُرْآنَ؛ فَإِنَّهُ أَشَدُّ تَفَلُّتًا مِنْ قُلُوبِ الرِّجَالِ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ مِنْ عُقُلِهَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, "Hold fast to this Quran, for it is more eloquent and detailed than the chests of men in relation to their camels, and none of you should say, 'I have forgotten a verse,' instead, it is a case of being made to forget."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «تَعَاهَدُوا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ فَإِنَّهُ وَحْشِيٌّ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنْ صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ مِنْ عُقُلِهَا وَلَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ نَسِيتُ آيَةَ كَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ بَلْ هُوَ نُسِّيَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Learn the Quran and keep it with you, for by the One in whose hand is my soul, it is more intricate than the separation of the placenta in the womb."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «تَعَلَّمُوا الْقُرْآنَ وَاقْتَنُوهُ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنَ الْمَخَاضِ فِي الْعُقُلِ»

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَعَاهَدُوا الْقُرْآنَ فَلَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنْ صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ مِنْ عُقُلِهَا

[AI] "Preserving the Qur'an is more intricately detailed than the thoughts and intellect of men are careful about their blessings."

«تَعَاهَدُوا الْمَصَاحِفَ فَلَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنَ صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ مِنَ النَّعَمِ مِنْ عُقُلِهَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Take care of the Quran, for it is prone to be forgotten faster than the camels from their ropes and their necks. None of you should say, 'I have forgotten a verse' but should rather say 'I have been made to forget.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَعَاهَدُوا الْقُرْآنَ؛ فَإِنَّهُ وَحْشِيٌّ فَلَهُوَ أَسْرَعُ تَفَصِّيًا مِنْ صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ مِنْ عُقُلِهَا وَلَا يَقُولُ أَحَدُكُمْ نَسِيتُ آيَةَ كَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ بَلْ نُسِّيَ

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet, ﷺ , he said, "Take care of the Quran, as it is more intense in its divisions than the chests of men are with regards to their most beloved camels returning to their homelands."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «تَعَاهَدُوا الْقُرْآنَ؛ فَلَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنْ صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ مِنْ نَوَازِعِ الْإِبِلِ إِلَى أَوْطَانِهَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "How bad it is for one of you to say, 'I have forgotten such and such a verse,' when in fact he has forgotten the Quran. So, work hard to memorize the Quran, for it is a wild animal that is more difficult to tame than the camel from its hump."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ بِئْسَمَا لِأَحَدِكُمْ أَنْ يَقُولَ نَسِيتُ آيَةَ كَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ بَلْ هُوَ نُسِّيَ تَعَاهَدُوا الْقُرْآنَ؛ فَإِنَّهُ وَحْشِيٌّ وَلَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنْ صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ مِنْ عُقُلِهَا

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Commit yourselves to the Quran, for it is more detailed in its understanding than the chests of men and more beneficial to the mind than wealth."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «تَعَاهَدُوا الْقُرْآنَ؛ فَلَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنْ صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ مِنَ النَّعَمِ مِنْ عُقُلِهَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Learn the Quran, sing with it, and possess it, for by the One in whose hand is my soul, it is more intense in detail than the throes of childbirth in the mind."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تَعَلَّمُوا الْقُرْآنَ وَغَنُّوا بِهِ وَاقْتَنُوهُ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنَ الْمَخَاضِ فِي الْعُقُلِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Learn the Quran, sing with it, possess it. By the One in whose hand is my soul, it is easier than childbirth in the mind."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تَعَلَّمُوا الْقُرْآنَ وَتَغَنُّوا بِهِ وَاقْتَنُوهُ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَلُّتًا مِنَ الْمَخَاضِ فِي الْعَقْلِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Learn the Book of Allah, hold onto it, and recite it with melodious intonation. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, it is more malleable than giving birth in the intellect."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تَعَلَّمُوا كِتَابَ اللهِ وَتَعَاهَدُوهُ وَتَغَنَّوْا بِهِ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَلُّتًا مِنَ الْمَخَاضِ فِي الْعُقُلِ»

"استذْكِروا القُرآنَ فَلَهُو أشدُّ تقصِّيًا من صدورِ الرجالِ من النعَم منْ عُقُلِها".

"تَعاهَدُوا القُرآن، فوالَّذى نفْسِي بيَدِهِ لهُوَ أَشدُّ تفصِّيًا مِنْ صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ مِنَ الإِبلِ النَّوَازِع إِلى أوْطَانِها".

"تعَاهَدُوا القُرآنَ؛ فَوَالَّذِى نفسِى بيَدِهِ لَهُو أَشَدُّ تَفصِّيًا مِن قُلُوب الرِّجَال مِن الإِبل مِن عُقُلِهَا".

"تَعَلَّمُوا كِتَابَ الله، وَاقْتَنُوهُ، وتعاهدوه وَتَغَنَّوْا به فَوَالَّذى نَفْسُ مُحَمدٍ بيَدِهِ لهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِن صُدُورِ الرِّجَال مِنَ المَخَاضِ فِي العُقُل".
