I asked Messenger of Allah ﷺ about looking hither and thither in prayer. He replied, "It is a way of stealing by which Satan takes away (a portion) from the prayer of a person."  

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ الاِلْتِفَاتِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَقَالَ هُوَ اخْتِلاَسٌ يَخْتَلِسُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنْ صَلاَةِ الْعَبْدِ  

I asked the Prophet ﷺ about one's looking here and there during the prayer. He replied, "It is what Satan steals from the prayer of any one of you."  

عَائِشَةُ ؓ سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنِ الْتِفَاتِ الرَّجُلِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَقَالَ هُوَ اخْتِلاَسٌ يَخْتَلِسُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنْ صَلاَةِ أَحَدِكُمْ  

"I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about looking here and there during prayer. He said: 'That is something that the Shaitan snatches from one's prayer.'"  

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ الاِلْتِفَاتِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَقَالَ اخْتِلاَسٌ يَخْتَلِسُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ  

I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about looking to the sides during prayer. He said: It is something which the devil snatches from a servant’s prayers.  

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْتِفَاتِ الرَّجُلِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا هُوَ اخْتِلاَسٌ يَخْتَلِسُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنْ صَلاَةِ الْعَبْدِ  

"I asked the Messenger of Allah about looking around during the Salat. He said: 'It is a portion which the Shaitan snatches during a man's prayer.'"

سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الِالْتِفَاتِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ «إِنَّمَا هُوَ اخْتِلَاسٌ يَخْتَلِسُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَبْدِ»  

"Aishah said: 'Turning around during prayer is something that the Shaitan snatches from one's prayer.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1199)  

عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ «الِالْتِفَاتَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ اخْتِلَاسٌ يَخْتَلِسُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ»

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الِالْتِفَاتِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ «هُوَ اخْتِلَاسٌ يَخْتَلِسُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَبْدِ»  

"الالتِفَاتُ في الصَّلاة إختلاسٌ يَخَتَلِسهُ الشَّيطَانُ مِنْ صَلاةِ الْعَبْدِ".  

"عن أبي عطية قال: سئلت عائشة عن الإلتفات في الصلاة، فقالت: اختلاس يختلسه الشيطان من الصلاة".
