IBNHIBBAN 521:
from Qurrah b. Mūsá al-Hujaymī —
[Machine] I approached the Prophetﷺ while he was wearing a cloak, and its hem was touching his feet. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, advise me." He said, "You should be mindful of Allah and not belittle any act of goodness, even if it is just pouring water from your bucket into the vessel of the one who seeks water, and you should speak kindly to your brother while facing him with a smiling face. And beware of tucking your garment beneath your knees [out of pride], as this is from arrogance, and Allah does not love arrogance. If someone criticizes you for something he knows about you, do not criticize him for something you know about him. Let him be with his own faults, and his retribution will be upon himself. And do not curse anyone." Then I did not insult any living being after that (Saheeh Muslim).
