The Prophet ﷺ said, "If a lady slave commits illegal sexual intercourse and she is proved guilty of illegal sexual intercourse, then she should be flogged (fifty stripes) but she should not be admonished; and if she commits illegal sexual intercourse again, then she should be flogged again but should not be admonished; and if she commits illegal sexual intercourse for the third time, then she should be sold even for a hair rope."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا زَنَتِ الأَمَةُ فَتَبَيَّنَ زِنَاهَا فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلاَ يُثَرِّبْ ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلاَ يُثَرِّبْ ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتِ الثَّالِثَةَ فَلْيَبِعْهَا وَلَوْ بِحَبْلٍ مِنْ شَعَرٍ

I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "If a slave-girl of yours commits illegal sexual intercourse and her illegal sexual intercourse is proved, she should be lashed, and after that nobody should blame her, and if she commits illegal sexual intercourse the second time, she should be lashed and nobody should blame her after that, and if she does the offense for the third time and her illegal sexual intercourse is proved, she should be sold even for a hair rope."

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا زَنَتْ أَمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَتَبَيَّنَ زِنَاهَا فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا الْحَدَّ وَلاَ يُثَرِّبْ عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا الْحَدَّ وَلاَ يُثَرِّبْ ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتِ الثَّالِثَةَ فَتَبَيَّنَ زِنَاهَا فَلْيَبِعْهَا وَلَوْ بِحَبْلٍ مِنْ شَعَرٍ

The Prophet ﷺ said: “If a maid-servant commits adultery and it is proven, then let him (the master) flog her and not reproach her. Then if she commits adultery again, let him flog her and not reproach her. Then if she commits adultery a third time, let him sell her, even if only for a rope made of hair.”

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: «إِذَا زَنَتِ الأَمَةُ فَتَبَيَّنَ زِنَاهَا فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلاَ يُثَرِّبْ، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلاَ يُثَرِّبْ، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتِ الثَّالِثَةَ فَلْيَبِعْهَا وَلَوْ بِحَبْلٍ مِنْ شَعَرٍ».

When the slave-woman of any of you commits adultery and this (offence of hers) becomes clear, she should be flogged (as the prescribed) punishment, but hurl no reproach at her. If she commits adultery again, she should (again be punished) by flogging, but hurl no reproach upon her. If she commits fornication for the third time and it becomes clear, then he should sell her, even if only for a rope of hair.

“If a slave woman commits fornication then whip her, and if she commits fornication then whip her, and if she commits fornication then whip her, then sell her even if that is for a rope.”

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا زَنَتِ الأَمَةُ فَاجْلِدُوهَا فَإِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا فَإِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا فَإِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا ثُمَّ بِيعُوهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ وَالضَّفِيرُ الْحَبْلُ

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'If any of your female slaves commit adultery, then whip them but do not disgrace them. If they do it again, whip them but do not disgrace them. If they repeat it for the third time, then sell them, even if it is with a rope made of hair or a braid made of hair.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا زَنَتْ أَمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلَا يُعَيِّرْهَا فَإِنْ عَادَتْ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلَا يُعَيِّرْهَا فَإِنْ عَادَتْ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلَا يُعَيِّرْهَا فَإِنْ عَادَتْ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ فَلْيَبِعْهَا وَلَوْ بِحَبْلٍ مِنْ شَعَرٍ أَوْ ضَفِيرٍ مِنْ شَعَرٍ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If any of your servants commits adultery, then flog them and do not insult them. If they do it again, then flog them and do not insult them. If they do it a third time, then flog them and do not insult them. If they do it a fourth time, then flog them and sell them with a rope made of hair or with braided hair."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا زَنَتْ خَادِمُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلَا يُعَيِّرْهَا فَإِنْ عَادَتِ الثَّانِيَةَ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلَا يُعَيِّرْهَا فَإِنْ عَادَتِ الثَّالِثَةَ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلَا يُعَيِّرْهَا فَإِنْ عَادَتِ الرَّابِعَةَ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلْيَبِعْهَا بِحَبْلٍ مِنْ شَعَرٍ أَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ مِنْ شَعَرٍ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If a slave woman of any of you commits adultery, then he should flog her, and if she commits adultery again, then he should flog her, and if she commits adultery again, then he should flog her, and if she commits adultery again, then he should sell her even for a rope."

[Machine] From the Prophet, ﷺ , he said, "If one of you's slave woman commits adultery, then he should punish her (by lashing), and not harm her. If she commits adultery again, then he should punish her (by lashing) again. And if she commits adultery again, then he should sell her, even if it is with a rope made of hair or braids made of hair."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا زَنَتْ أَمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلَا يُعَنِّفْهَا فَإِنْ زَنَتْ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا فَإِنْ زَنَتْ فَلْيَبِعْهَا وَلَوْ بِحَبْلٍ مِنْ شَعْرٍ أَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ مِنْ شَعْرٍ»

[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ said, "If the slave girl of one of you commits adultery, then he should flog her. If she commits adultery again, then he should flog her. And do not revile her, for if she commits adultery again, then he should sell her, even if it is for a strand of hair."

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال إذا زنت أمة أحدكم فليجلدها ثُمَّ إن زنت فليجلدها ثُمَّ إن زنت فليبعها ولو بضفير

The Prophet ﷺ said, "If a slave-girl commits illegal sexual intercourse and it is proved beyond doubt, then her owner should lash her and should not blame her after the legal punishment. And then if she repeats the illegal sexual intercourse he should lash her again and should not blame her after the legal punishment, and if she commits it a third time, then he should sell her even for a hair rope." "إِذَا زَنَتْ أمةُ أحدكم، فتَبَّين زناها فليجلدْها الحدَّ، ولا يُثرِّب عليها، ثم إن زنت فليَجْلِدْهَا الحدِّ ولا يُثَرِّب عليها، ثم إن زَنَتْ الثالثَة فَليَبِعْهَا ولو بِحَبْلٍ من شَعْرٍ".

"إِذَا زَنَتْ أمةُ أحدكُم فليَجلدْها ثلاثًا بكتابِ الله، فإِن عادت فليَبعْها ولو بحبلٍ من شعْر".

"إِذَا زنت أمة أحدكم فَليَجَلِدْهَا ولا يُثَرِّبْ عَلَيهَا، فإِنَ عَادَتَ فَليَجِلدهَا فإِنْ عادت فَليَبِعْهَا ولو بضفيرِ من شَعْرٍ".

"إِذَا زنت أمةُ أحدِكم فَليَجْلِدْها، ولا يُعيِّرها، ولا يُفنِّدْها، ثم إِن زنتْ فَليَجْلِدْهَا ولا يعيِّرها ولا يُفَنِّدْها ثم إن زنت الثالثَة فَليَبِعْهَا ولو بحبل من شعْرٍ".
