nasai-kubra:10685Ibrāhīm b. Muḥammad al-Taymī al-Qāḍī > Yaḥyá > Sufyān > al-Miqdām b. Shurayḥ from his father > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a young child in the horizon of the sky, he would leave his work, even if he was in prayer. If Allah revealed the child to him, he would praise Allah. And if it rained, he would say 'O Allah, send down rain.'"  

الكبرى للنسائي:١٠٦٨٥أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّيْمِيُّ الْقَاضِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا رَأَى نَاشِئًا فِي أُفُقٍ مِنْ آفَاقِ السَّمَاءِ تَرَكَ عَمَلَهُ وَإِنْ كَانَ فِي صَلَاةٍ فَإِنْ كَشَفَهُ اللهُ حَمِدَ اللهَ وَإِنْ مَطَرَتْ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ سَيْبًا»

When the Prophet ﷺ saw a cloud formation in the sky, he left work, even if he were at prayer, and then would say: "O Allah! I seek refuge in Thee from its evil. " If it rained, he would say: "O Allah! send a beneficial downpour."

[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, whenever he saw a flash of lightning from the horizons of the sky, he would leave his work, even if he was in the middle of his prayer. Then he would say, 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil it contains. If You remove it, praise be to Allah, and if it continues, he would say, 'O Allah, send down beneficial rain.'"
