4. Zakāh (Charity)
٤۔ كِتَابُ الزَّكَاةِ
"Jarir said: 'Some Bedouin people came to the Prephet and said: O Messenger of Allah, some of your Zakah collectors come to us and they are unfair. He said: Keep your Zakah collectors happy. They said: Even if they are unfair? He said: Keep your Zakah collectors happy. Then they said: Even if they are unfair. He said: Keep your Zakah collectors happy. Jarir said: No Zakah collector left me, since I heard this from the Messenger of Allah but he was pleased with me."[1] (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2460)
قَالَ جَرِيرٌ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ يَأْتِينَا نَاسٌ مِنْ مُصَدِّقِيكَ يَظْلِمُونَ قَالَ «أَرْضُوا مُصَدِّقِيكُمْ» قَالُوا وَإِنْ ظَلَمَ؟ قَالَ «أَرْضُوا مُصَدِّقِيكُمْ» قَالَ جَرِيرٌ فَمَا صَدَرَ عَنِّي مُصَدَّقٌ مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَّا وَهُوَ رَاضٍ
"Jarir said: 'The Messenger of Allah said: When the Zakah collector comes to you, let him leave happy with you."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2461)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَتَاكُمُ الْمُصَدِّقُ فَلْيَصْدُرْ وَهُوَ عَنْكُمْ رَاضٍ»
