When one of you yawns, he should keep his mouth shut with the help of his hand, for it is the devil that enters therein.

ahmad:11323 – ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > Suhayl b. Abū Ṣāliḥ > Ibn Abū Saʿīd > Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you yawns during prayer, let him cover his mouth with his hand, as the devil enters along with yawning."

ahmad:11262 – Wakīʿ > Sufyān > Suhayl b. Abū Ṣāliḥ > Ibn Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī from his father

The son of Abu Said al-Khudri reported on the authority of his father that Messenger of Allah ﷺ said. When one of you yawns while engaged in prayer, he should try to restrain so far as it lies in his power, since it is the Satan that enter therein. (Using translation from Muslim 2995c)
