I asked 'A'isha about the supplication that Messenger of Allah ﷺ made. She said that he used to say:" O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done."

عَنْ دُعَاءٍ كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَشَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

" O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of what I did and from the evil of what I did not."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي دُعَائِهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَشَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

What supplication did the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say the most before he died? She said: "The supplication that he said the most was: 'Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal ba'd (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I have done, and from the evil of what I have not done yet.)'"

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَا كَانَ أَكْثَرَ مَا يَدْعُو بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ قَالَتْ كَانَ أَكْثَرَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

"I asked 'Aishah, what was the supplication that the Prophet [SAW] said the most? She said: 'The supplication that he said the most was: Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal ba'd (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I have done, and from the evil of what I have not done yet.)'"

سُئِلَتْ عَائِشَةُ مَا كَانَ أَكْثَرَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَالَتْ كَانَ أَكْثَرَ دُعَائِهِ أَنْ يَقُولَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ بَعْدُ

"I asked the Mother of the Believers 'Aishah about what the Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say in his supplication. She said: 'He used to say: A'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal ba'd (I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I have done and the evil of what I have not done yet.)'"

سَأَلْتُ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَائِشَةَ عَمَّا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَدْعُو قَالَتْ كَانَ يَقُولُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say: 'Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal ba'd (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done yet.)'"

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَ عُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

"I asked 'Aishah: 'Tell me of something that the Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say in his supplication.' She said: 'The Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say: Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal ba'd (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done.)'"

سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ فَقُلْتُ حَدِّثِينِي بِشَىْءٍ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَدْعُو بِهِ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

"I said to 'Aishah: 'Tell me of a supplication that the Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say.' She said: 'He used to say: Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal ba'd (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done.)'"

قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ أَخْبِرِينِي بِدُعَاءٍ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَدْعُو بِهِ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

"I said to 'Aishah: 'Tell me of a supplication that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say in his prayer.' She said: 'Yes. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: Allahumma inni author bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of that which I have done, and the evil of that which I have not done.)'"

قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ حَدِّثِينِي بِشَىْءٍ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَدْعُو بِهِ فِي صَلاَتِهِ فَقَالَتْ نَعَمْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

"He would say: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done, and from the evil of what I have not done.'"

سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَمَّا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَدْعُو بِهِ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

"I asked 'Aishah about a supplication that the Messenger of Allah (saas) used to say. She said that he used to say: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu, wa min sharri ma lam a'mal (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of that which I have done and the evil of that which I have not done).'"

عَنْ دُعَاءٍ كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

" O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of what I did and from the evil of what I did not." (Using translation from Muslim 2716d)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي دُعَائِهِ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

"I asked 'Aishah: 'Tell me of something that the Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say in his supplication.' She said: 'The Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say: Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal ba'd (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done.)'" أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ قُلْتُ أَخْبِرِينِي بِشَيْءٍ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَدْعُو بِهِ لَعَلِّي أَدْعُو اللهَ بِهِ فَيَنْفَعَنِي اللهُ بِهِ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺيُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

"He would say: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done, and from the evil of what I have not done.'" (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1550)

قُلْتُ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَدِّثِينِي بِشَيْءٍ كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺقَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمَنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

[Machine] From the supplication of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, it is narrated that he used to say, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done to myself."

عَنْ دُعَاءِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلَتْهُ نَفْسِي

"I said to 'Aishah: 'Tell me of a supplication that the Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say.' She said: 'He used to say: Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal ba'd (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done.)'" قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ أَخْبِرِينِي بِدُعَاءٍ كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ كَانَ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمَنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

" O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of what I did and from the evil of what I did not." (Using translation from Muslim 2716d)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

"I said to 'Aishah: 'Tell me of a supplication that the Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say.' She said: 'He used to say: Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal ba'd (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done.)'" قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ أَخْبِرِينِي بِبَعْضِ دُعَاءِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

"He would say: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done, and from the evil of what I have not done.'" (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1550)

"I said to 'Aishah: 'Tell me of a supplication that the Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say.' She said: 'He used to say: Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal ba'd (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done.)'" What supplication did the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say the most before he died? She said: "The supplication that he said the most was: 'Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal ba'd (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I have done, and from the evil of what I have not done yet.)'" أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَا كَانَ أَكْثَرَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ؟ قَالَتْ كَانَ أَكْثَرَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ سَوْءِ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ»

"I asked 'Aishah, what was the supplication that the Prophet [SAW] said the most? She said: 'The supplication that he said the most was: Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal ba'd (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I have done, and from the evil of what I have not done yet.)'" سُئِلَتْ عَائِشَةُ مَا كَانَ أَكْثَرَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ؟ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ أَكْثَرَ دُعَائِهِ أَنْ يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ بَعْدُ»

"He would say: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done, and from the evil of what I have not done.'" (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1550)

سَأَلْتُ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَائِشَةَ بِمَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَدْعُو قَالَتْ كَانَ يَقُولُ «أَعُوذُ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ يَعْنِي مِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ»

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say: 'Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal ba'd (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done yet.)'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5526)

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ»

"I asked 'Aishah: 'Tell me of something that the Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say in his supplication.' She said: 'The Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say: Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal ba'd (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done.)'" سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ قُلْتُ حَدِّثِينِي بِشَيْءٍ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَدْعُو بِهِ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ»

"I said to 'Aishah: 'Tell me of a supplication that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say in his prayer.' She said: 'Yes. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: Allahumma inni author bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of that which I have done, and the evil of that which I have not done.)'" قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ حَدِّثِينِي بِشَيْءٍ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَدْعُو بِهِ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَقَالَتْ نَعَمْ كَانَ يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ»

"اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عِمِلتُ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أعْمَلْ" .
