Umar bin al Khattab heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ʿIf you were to put your trust in Allah as you should, you would be given provision like the birds: they go out hungry in the morning and come back with full bellies in the evening.”  

سَمِعَ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ تَتَوَكَّلُونَ عَلَى اللهِ حَقَّ تَوَكُّلِهِ لَرَزَقَكُمْ كَمَا يَرْزُقُ الطَّيْرَ تَغْدُو خِمَاصًا وَتَرُوحُ بِطَانًا  

the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If you were to rely upon Allah with the required reliance, then He would provide for you just as a bird is provided for, it goes out in the morning empty, and returns full."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ تَوَكَّلُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ حَقَّ تَوَكُّلِهِ لَرُزِقْتُمْ كَمَا تُرْزَقُ الطَّيْرُ تَغْدُو خِمَاصًا وَتَرُوحُ بِطَانًا  

"If you were to rely upon Allah with the required reliance, then He would provide for you just as a bird is provided for, it goes out in the morning empty, and returns full." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2344)  

عَنْ النَّبِي ﷺ قَالَ «لَو أَنَّكُم تَوَكَّلُون عَلَى الله حَق تَوَكُّلِه لَرُزِقْتُم كَمَا تُرْزَق الطَّيْر تَغْدُو خِمَاصًا وَتَرُوح بِطَانًا»  

“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘If you were to rely upon Allah with the reliance He is due, you would be given provision like the birds: They go out hungry in the morning and come back with full bellies in the evening.”  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ تَوَكَّلْتُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ حَقَّ تَوَكُّلِهِ لَرَزَقَكُمْ كَمَا يَرْزُقُ الطَّيْرَ تَغْدُو خِمَاصًا وَتَرُوحُ بِطَانًا

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَوْ تَوَكَّلُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ حَقَّ تَوَكُّلِهِ لَرَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ كَمَا يَرْزُقُ الطَّيْرَ تَغْدُو خِمَاصًا وَتَعُودُ بِطَانًا»  

“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘If you were to rely upon Allah with the reliance He is due, you would be given provision like the birds: They go out hungry in the morning and come back with full bellies in the evening.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4164)  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ تَوَكَّلْتُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ حَقَّ تَوَكُّلِهِ لَرَزَقَكُمْ كَمَا يَرْزُقُ الطَّيْرَ تَغْدُو خِمَاصًا وَتَرُوحُ بِطَانًا»
