"The servant shall not reach the state of being among the Muttaqin until he leaves what there is no harm in out of caution for its harm."  

عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ السَّعْدِيِّ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يَبْلُغُ الْعَبْدُ أَنْ يَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ حَتَّى يَدَعَ مَا لاَ بَأْسَ بِهِ حَذَرًا لِمَا بِهِ الْبَأْسُ  

[Machine] On the authority of Atiyyah ibn Sa'd, who was one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, a person is not considered one of the righteous until he leaves what is permissible out of caution for what is impermissible."  

عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَا يَكُونُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ حَتَّى يَدَعَ مَا لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ حَذَرًا لِمَا بِهِ بَأْسٌ»  

“A person will not reach the status of being one of those who have piety until he refrains from doing something in which there is no sin, for fear of falling into something in which there is sin.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4215)  

عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ السَّعْدِيِّ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَبْلُغُ الْعَبْدُ أَنْ يَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ حَتَّى يَدَعَ مَا لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ حَذَرًا مِمَّا بِهِ بَأْسٌ»  

“A person will not reach the status of being one of those who have piety until he refrains from doing something in which there is no sin, for fear of falling into something in which there is sin.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4215)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَبْلُغُ الْعَبْدُ أَنْ يَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ حَتَّى يَدَعَ مَا لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ؛ حَذَرًا لِمَا بِهِ الْبَأْسُ  

"لا يَبْلُغُ الْعَبْدُ أَنْ يَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ حَتَّى يَدَع مَا لا بَأسَ بِهِ حَذَرًا لِمَا بِهِ الْبَأسُ".
