ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ ثَانٍ يُصَرِّحْ بِصِحَّةِ مَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ

ibnhibban:6377Muḥammad b. ʿUmar b. Yūsuf > Naṣr b. ʿAlī al-Jahḍamī > Sufyān > Ibn al-Munkadir > Jābir

[Machine] I heard Jabir saying, "The Prophet ﷺ was never asked about something and he said no."  

ابن حبّان:٦٣٧٧أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ «مَا سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ شَيْءٍ قَطُّ فَقَالَ لَا»

[Machine] I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah say, "The Prophet ﷺ was never asked a question without responding, 'No.'"  

أحمد:١٤٢٩٤حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ

سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ مَا سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ شَيْئًا قَطُّ فَقَالَ لَا  

ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَمْنَعُ أَحَدًا يَسْأَلُهُ شَيْئًا مِنْ هَذِهِ الْفَانِيَةِ الزَّائِلَةِ

ابن حبّان:٦٣٧٦أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بِمَكَّةَ وَعَبَّادَانُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ «مَا سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ شَيْئًا قَطُّ فَأَبَى»

It never happened that Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked for anything and he said: No. (Using translation from Muslim 2311a)   

الطبراني:٥٩٧٤حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَخْرَمُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نِيْزَكٍ ثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ

مَا سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ شَيْئًا قَطُّ فَقَالَ لَا
