[AI] "That you write to me about a hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . So he called his servant and asked him to write: 'Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbidding the mistreatment of daughters, disobedience to mothers, withholding things, spreading rumors, excessive questioning, and wasting money.'"

So Al-Mughira wrote: I heard the Prophet saying, "Allah has hated for you three things: -1. Vain talks, (useless talk) that you talk too much or about others. -2. Wasting of wealth (by extravagance) -3. And asking too many questions (in disputed religious matters) or asking others for something (except in great need). (See Hadith No. 591, Vol. Ill)

Actions that are forbidden and those that are highly disliked

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah has forbidden for you, (1) to be undutiful to your mothers, (2) to bury your daughters alive, (3) to not to pay the rights of the others (e.g. charity, etc.) and (4) to beg of men (begging).

And Allah has hated for you (1) vain, useless talk, or that you talk too much about others, (2) to ask too many questions, (in disputed religious matters) and (3) to waste the wealth (by extravagance).

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah has forbidden you ( 1 ) to be undutiful to your mothers (2) to withhold (what you should give) or (3) demand (what you do not deserve), and (4) to bury your daughters alive. And Allah has disliked that (A) you talk too much about others ( B), ask too many questions (in religion), or (C) waste your property."

(The clerk of Al-Mughira) Muawiya wrote to Al-Mughira 'Write to me what you have heard from Messenger of Allah ﷺ.' So he (Al-Mughira) wrote to him: Allah's Prophet used to say at the end of each prayer: "La ilaha illalla-h wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul Mulku, wa lahul Hamdu wa hula ala kulli shai'in qadir. 'Allahumma la mani' a lima a'taita, wala mu'tiya lima mana'ta, wala yanfa'u dhuljadd minkal-jadd." He also wrote to him that the Prophet ﷺ used to forbid (1) Qil and Qal (idle useless talk or that you talk too much about others), (2) Asking too many questions (in disputed Religious matters); (3) And wasting one's wealth by extravagance; (4) and to be undutiful to one's mother (5) and to bury the daughters alive (6) and to prevent your favors (benevolence to others (i.e. not to pay the rights of others (7) And asking others for something (except when it is unavoidable).

Verity Allah, the Glorious and Majestic, has forbidden for you: disobedience to mothers, and burying alive daughters, withholding the right of others in spite of having the power to return that to them and demanding that (which is not one's legitimate right). And He disapproved three things for you; irrelevant talk, persistent questioning and wasting of wealth.

He wrote to him, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say that when he finishes his prayer, he says, 'There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise, and He is capable of everything. O Allah, there is no one who can withhold what You give, and no one can give what You withhold, and the true benefit is not from the one who appears to be a benefactor. And I heard him forbid backbiting, spreading gossip, excessive questioning, wasting money, maltreatment of daughters, and disobedience to parents, and from injustice and attacking others without a justifiable reason.

He said: "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished praying, he would say: La Ilaha Illallah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulk wa lahul-hamd wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir. Allahumma la mani' lima a'taita wa la mu'tia lima mana'ta wa la yanfa'u dhal-jaddi minka al-jadd. (There is none worthy of worship except Allah ﷺ alone with no partner or associate. He is the Dominion and to Him be all praise, and He is able to do all things. O Allah, one can withhold what You have given and none can give what You have withheld, and no wealth or fortune can benefit anyone for from You comes all wealth and fortune.)'" أَنِ اكْتُبْ إِلَيَّ بِشَيْءٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ حِينَ يَفْرُغُ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ اللَّهُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لَمَّا أَعْطَيْتَ وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ»

ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَنْ تَحْرِيمِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا خِصَالًا مَعْلُومَةً عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah has forbidden for you, (1) to be undutiful to your mothers, (2) to bury your daughters alive, (3) to not to pay the rights of the others (e.g. charity, etc.) and (4) to beg of men (begging). And Allah has hated for you (1) vain, useless talk, or that you talk too much about others, (2) to ask too many questions, (in disputed religious matters) and (3) to waste the wealth (by extravagance).

ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَمَّا يَجِبُ عَلَى الْمَرْءِ مِنْ مُجَانَبَةِ الْكَلَامِ الْكَثِيرِ، وَتَضْيِيعِ الْمَالِ

Ibn 'Ulayyah said, "Wasting wealth is spending it in an unjust manner."

The clerk of Al-Mughira bin Shuʿba narrated, "Muawiya wrote to Al-Mughira bin Shuʿba: Write to me something which you have heard from the Prophet ﷺ ." So Al-Mughira wrote: I heard the Prophet saying, "Allah has hated for you three things: -1. Vain talks, (useless talk) that you talk too much or about others. -2. Wasting of wealth (by extravagance) -3. And asking too many questions (in disputed religious matters) or asking others for something (except in great need). Verity Allah, the Glorious and Majestic, has forbidden for you: disobedience to mothers, and burying alive daughters, withholding the right of others in spite of having the power to return that to them and demanding that (which is not one's legitimate right). And He disapproved three things for you; irrelevant talk, persistent questioning and wasting of wealth. (Using translation from Muslim 593f)

And I heard him say, 'O Allah, there is no one who can prevent what You have given, and no one can give what You have prevented, and the efforts of a beggar are of no use against You.'"

سَمِعَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ» اللهَ ﷻ كَرِهَ لَكُمْ ثَلَاثًا عُقُوقَ الْأُمَّهَاتِ وَوَأْدَ الْبَنَاتِ وَمَنَعَ وَهَاتِ وَقِيلَ وَقَالَ وَكَثْرَةَ السُّؤَالِ وَإِضَاعَةَ الْمَالِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah has forbidden for you, (1) to be undutiful to your mothers, (2) to bury your daughters alive, (3) to not to pay the rights of the others (e.g. charity, etc.) and (4) to beg of men (begging). And Allah has hated for you (1) vain, useless talk, or that you talk too much about others, (2) to ask too many questions, (in disputed religious matters) and (3) to waste the wealth (by extravagance).
