ذِكْرُ مَغْفِرَةِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا لِلْمُسْلِمِ الْمَيِّتِ إِذَا صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ مِائَةٌ كُلُّهُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ شُفَعَاءُ

[Machine] The following is the translation of the Arabic phrase into English: "The Messenger of Allahﷺ said, 'If anyone dies and a hundred people of his Ummah (community) pray for him, and they intercede for him, their intercession will be accepted.'"  

ابن حبّان:٣٠٨١ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّقَفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَمُوتُ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةٌ يَبْلُغُونَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا مِائَةً فَيَشْفَعُونَ إِلَّا شُفِّعُوا فِيهِ»

tirmidhi:1029 – Ibn Abū ʿUmar

The Prophet said: "No one among the Muslim dies, and Salat is performed for him by a community of Muslims reaching one hundred, and they intercede (supplicate) for him, except that their intercession for him is accepted." In his narration, 'Ali bin Hujr said: "One hundred or more than that."
