ذِكْرُ تَمْثِيلِ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ الْخُطْبَةَ الْمُتَعَرِّيَةَ عَنِ الشَّهَادَةِ بِالْيَدِ الْجَذْمَاءِ

ibnhibban:2796 – Muḥammad b. Isḥāq b. Khuzaymah > Muḥammad b. Rāfiʿ > Ḥabbān b. Hilāl > ʿAbd al-Wāḥid b. Ziyād > ʿĀṣim b. Kulayb from my father > Abū Hurayrah

The Messenger of Allah said: "Every Khutbah that does not have the Tashah-hud in it, then it is like a severed hand." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1106)  

ابن حبّان:٢٧٩٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «كُلُّ خِطْبَةٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا تَشَهَّدٌ فَهِيَ كَالْيَدِ الْجَذْمَاءِ»

The Prophet ﷺ said: Every sermon which does not contain a tashahhud is like a hand cut off.
