ذِكْرُ تَبَايُنِ النَّاسِ فِي الْأَجْرِ عِنْدَ رَوَاحِهِمْ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: "On every door of the mosque, there are two angels who take turns in writing. The first angel records the first (person) to enter, whether it be a man who came with a camel, a cow, a sheep, a bird, or an egg. When the imam sits down (to deliver the sermon), the records are folded up."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "On Fridays the angels sit at the gates of the Masjid writing down the peoples' names in the order in which they come. So the people are like (1) a person who sacrifices a camel, then like (2) a person who sacrifices a cow, then like (3) a person who sacrifices a sheep, then like (4) a person who sacrifices a sheep, then like (5) a person who sacrifices a chicken, then like (6) a person who sacrifices a sparrow, then like (7) a person who sacrifices an egg."
