ذِكْرُ إِبَاحَةِ صَلَاةِ الْمَرْءِ جَمَاعَةً تَطَوُّعًا

ibnhibban:2506Abū Khalīfah > Abū al-Walīd > Shuʿbah > Abū al-Tayyāḥ > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to interact with us frequently, to the point that he would even say to his younger brother, "O Abu Umair, how is An-Nughayr?" And when the time for prayer came, we spread out a mat for him, and he prayed on it while we lined up behind him.  

ابن حبّان:٢٥٠٦أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُخَالِطُنَا كَثِيرًا حَتَّى إِنْ كَانَ لَيَقُولُ لِأَخٍ لِي صَغِيرٍ «يَا أَبَا عُمَيْرٍ مَا فَعَلَ النُّغَيْرُ؟ » وَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَنَضَحْنَا بُسَاطًا لَنَا فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَصَفَفْنَا خَلْفَهُ

"Messenger of Allah used to mingle with us such that he said to my younger brother: 'O Abu Umair! What did the Nughair do?'" He (Anas) said: "A Bisat of ours would be sprinkled (with water) to perform Salat on."

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَكْثَرِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ لَمْ يَرَوْا بِالصَّلاَةِ عَلَى الْبِسَاطِ وَالطُّنْفُسَةِ بَأْسًا وَبِهِ يَقُولُ أَحْمَدُ وَإِسْحَاقُ وَاسْمُ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to mix with us to the extent that he would say to his brother, 'O Abu 'Umayr, what did the little gazelle do?' He (Shu'bah) said: "And when the prayer was ready, we would sprinkle water on his garment, then we would put ourselves behind him." Shu'bah said: "Then Abu Tayyah grew up and he (the Prophet) did not put us behind him or secure us."  

أحمد:١٢٧٥٣حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُخَالِطُنَا حَتَّى إِنْ كَانَ لَيَقُولُ لِأَخٍ لِي يَا أَبَا عُمَيْرٍ مَا فَعَلَ النُّغَيْرُ قَالَ وَكَانَ إِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ نَضَحْنَا لَهُ طَرَفَ بِسَاطٍ ثُمَّ أَمَّنَا وَصَفَّنَا خَلْفَهُ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ ثُمَّ إِنَّ أَبَا التَّيَّاحِ بَعْدَمَا كَبِرَ قَالَ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَقُلْ صَفَّنَا خَلْفَهُ وَلَا أَمَّنَا

[Machine] If the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to treat us kindly frequently, to the point that he once said to a younger brother of mine, "O Abu 'Umayr, what happened to the little bird?"  

أحمد:١٣٩٥٤حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيُلَاطِفُنَا كَثِيرًا حَتَّىإِنَّهُ قَالَ لِأَخٍ لِي صَغِيرٍ يَا أَبَا عُمَيْرٍ مَا فَعَلَ النُّغَيْرُ؟

"I heard Anas Bin Malik say: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to mix with us so much that he said to a little brother of mine: "O Abu ʿUmair, what happened to the Nughair (one of the narrators Wakiʿ said that it means a bird that he used to play with)." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3720)
