The Prophet ﷺ took Hussain and kissed him. Then, he approached them (the people) and said, 'Verily, this child is a source of stinginess, cowardice, ignorance, and sadness.'  

الحاكم:٥٢٨٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ خَلَفٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَخَذَ حُسَيْنًا فَقَبَّلَهُ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ الْوَلَدَ مَبْخَلَةٌ مَجْبَنَةٌ مَجْهَلَةٌ مَحْزَنَةٌ»
