[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered for some charity to be given. A man from amongst the Sahal came and said, "Sufyan (meaning the one who sells salt or salt vendor)" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Who brought this?" And no one used to bring anything except that it would be attributed to the one who brought it. So the verse was revealed: "And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it]. And do not touch the orphan's property except to improve it until he reaches maturity" [Quran 6:9]. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ also prohibited the use of two types of dates, the ones of a sort called "Ju'roor" and the type called "hubayq." Az-Zuhri said, "These two types of dates are from Madinah." Sulaiman ibn Kathir narrated this from Az-Zuhri.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded charity, so a man came with handfuls of coins from this bag and placed them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out and said, "Who brought this?" No one came except the person who brought it, so the verse was revealed: "O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned and from that which We have taken out for you from the earth. And do not aim toward the defective therefrom, spending [from that] while you would not take it [yourself] except with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy." And on that day, he forbade taking anything from the branches of a certain tree and said, "It is of two types of dates from the Medina." And Abbad said that Sufyan said, "It is the Zizyphus Lotus tree."
