[Machine] I witnessed the battle of Hunayn with my companions, and they spoke to me about the Messenger of Allah. He then commanded me to wear a sword, and I was informed that I was a slave. He also commanded something for me from the spoils of war.  

الحاكم:٢٥٩٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَطِيعِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ هُوَ ابْنُ مُهَاجِرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَيْرٌ مَوْلَى آبِي اللَّحْمَ قَالَ

شَهِدْتُ حُنَيْنًا مَعَ سَادَتِي فَكَلَّمُوا فِيَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «فَأَمَرَنِي فَقُلِّدْتُ سَيْفًا فَأُخْبِرَ أَنِّي مَمْلُوكٌ فَأَمَرَ لِي بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ خُرْثِيِّ الْمَتَاعِ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح

I was present at Khaybar along with my masters who spoke about me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He ordered about me, and a sword was girded on me and I was trailing it. He was then informed that I was a slave. He, therefore, ordered that I should be given some inferior goods. Abu Dawud said: This means that he (the Prophet) did not allot a portion of the spoils. Abu Dawud said: Abu 'Ubaid said: As he (the narrator Abi al-Lahm) made eating meat unlawful on himself, he was called Abi al-Lahm (one who hates meat).  

أبو داود:٢٧٣٠ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُفَضَّلِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَيْرٌ مَوْلَى آبِي اللَّحْمِ قَالَ

شَهِدْتُ خَيْبَرَ مَعَ سَادَتِي فَكَلَّمُوا فِيَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَمَرَنِي فَقُلِّدْتُ سَيْفًا فَإِذَا أَنَا أَجُرُّهُ فَأُخْبِرَ أَنِّي مَمْلُوكٌ فَأَمَرَ لِي بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ خُرْثِيِّ الْمَتَاعِ

So he ordered for me to receive the sword, and when I tried it, I found it to be heavy. Then he ordered for me to be given some of the spoils of war, and I presented a piece of cloth to him that I used to heal the insane. He commanded me to throw away some of it and keep some."

«شَهِدْتُ خَيْبَرَ مَعَ سَادَتِي فَكَلَّمُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي وَأَخْبَرُوهُ أَنِّي مَمْلُوكٌ فَأَمَرَ لِي فَقُلِّدْتُ السَّيْفَ فَإِذَا أَنَا أَجُرُّهُ فَأَمَرَ لِي بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ خُرْثِيِّ الْمَتَاعِ وَعَرَضْتُ عَلَيْهِ رُقْيَةً كُنْتُ أَرْقِي بِهَا الْمَجَانِينَ فَأَمَرَنِي بِطَرْحِ بَعْضِهَا وَحَبْسِ بَعْضِهِ»

الطبراني:١٤٢٦٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ أَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ مَوْلَى آبِي اللَّحْمِ قَالَ

«شَهِدْتُ خَيْبَرَ مَعَ سَادَتِي فَأَمَرَنِي نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ فَتَقَلَّدْتُ سَيْفًا فَإِذَا أَنَا أَجُرُّهُ وَأُخْبِرَ أَنِّي مَمْلُوكٌ فَأَمَرَ لِي بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ خُرْثِيِّ الْمَتَاعِ»
