[Machine] I asked Hassan bin Ali what he remembers from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He said, "I heard him saying, 'Leave that which causes doubt for that which does not cause doubt. Verily, goodness brings tranquility, and evil brings doubt.'"
سَأَلْتُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ مَا يَذْكُرُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «دَعْ مَا يَرِيبُكَ إِلَى مَا لَا يَرِيبُكَ فَإِنَّ الْخَيْرَ طُمَأْنِينَةٌ وَإِنَّ الشَّرَّ رِيبَةٌ»
I said to al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī: What did you memorize from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? He said: I memorized from him: "Leave what makes you doubt for what does not make you doubt. The truth brings tranquility while falsehood sows doubt."
قُلْتُ لِلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ: مَا حَفِظْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ: حَفِظْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «دَعْ مَا يَرِيبُكَ إِلَى مَا لاَ يَرِيبُكَ، فَإِنَّ الصِّدْقَ طُمَأْنِينَةٌ وَإِنَّ الْكَذِبَ رِيبَةٌ».
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Leave what causes doubt for what does not cause doubt, for verily, truthfulness brings tranquility and lying brings doubt." Strongly narrated.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «دَعْ مَا يَرِيبُكَ إِلَى مَا لَا يَرِيبُكَ فَإِنَّ الصِّدْقَ طُمَأْنِينَةٌ وَإِنَّ الْكَذِبَ رِيبَةٌ» سنده قوي

قُلْتُ لِلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ مَا تَذْكُرُ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ؟ قَالَ كَانَ يَقُولُ دَعْ مَا يَرِيبُكَ إِلَى مَا لَا يَرِيبُكَ فَإِنَّ الصِّدْقَ طُمَأْنِينَةٌ وَإِنَّ الْكَذِبَ رِيبَةٌ
"دَعْ مَا يَريبُك إِلَى مَا لَا يَريبُك؛ فإِنَّ الْخَيْرَ طُمَأنِينةٌ، وَإِنَّ الشَّرَ ريَبةٌ".
"عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ: دع مَا يَرِيبُكَ إِلَى مَا لَا يَرِيبُكَ، فَإِنَّ الْخَيْرَ طُمَأنِيَنةٌ وَإن الشَّرَّ فِيهِ رِيبَةٌ".
