[Machine] "He heard a peacock saying, 'I asked Ibn Abbas about iqa' (a type of bird), and he said, 'It is a sunnah (recommended act).' I said, 'We see it as detestable.' Ibn Abbas said, 'Indeed, it is a sunnah.' And it is correct to allow it on the condition mentioned by Muslim."  

الحاكم:١٠٠٦حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَا ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْعَبْدِيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ ثنا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ طَاوُسًا يَقُولُ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي الْإِقْعَاءِ قَالَ «هِيَ سُنَّةٌ» قُلْتُ إِنَّا نَرَاهُ جَفَاءً فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «إِنَّهَا السُّنَّةُ» وصح في إباحة ذلك على شرط مسلم

we asked Ibn ‘Abbas about sitting on heels between the two prostrations. He said: It is the sunnah. We said: We look upon it as a pressure on the foot. He said: This is the sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ
