"I said to the Prophet ﷺ that I was suffering from Istihadah. He said: 'Do not pray during the days of your period, then perform Ghusl and delay Zuhr and bring Maghrib and bring 'Isha' forward and pray them together, and perform Ghusl for Fajr."  

قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِنَّهَا مُسْتَحَاضَةٌ فَقَالَ تَجْلِسُ أَيَّامَ أَقْرَائِهَا ثُمَّ تَغْتَسِلُ وَتُؤَخِّرُ الظُّهْرَ وَتُعَجِّلُ الْعَصْرَ وَتَغْتَسِلُ وَتُصَلِّي وَتُؤَخِّرُ الْمَغْرِبَ وَتُعَجِّلُ الْعِشَاءَ وَتَغْتَسِلُ وَتُصَلِّيهِمَا جَمِيعًا وَتَغْتَسِلُ لِلْفَجْرِ  

A woman had a prolonged flow of blood in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She was commanded to advance the afternoon prayer and delay the noon prayer, and to take a bath for them only once; and to delay the sunset prayer and advance the night prayer and to take a bath only once for them; and to take a bath separately for the dawn prayer. I (Shu'bah) asked AbdurRahman: (Is it) from the Prophet ﷺ? I do not report to you anything except from the Prophet ﷺ.  

قَالَتِ اسْتُحِيضَتِ امْرَأَةٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأُمِرَتْ أَنْ تُعَجِّلَ الْعَصْرَ وَتُؤَخِّرَ الظُّهْرَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهُمَا غُسْلاً وَأَنْ تُؤَخِّرَ الْمَغْرِبَ وَتُعَجِّلَ الْعِشَاءَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهُمَا غُسْلاً وَتَغْتَسِلَ لِصَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ غُسْلاً فَقُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَعَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ لاَ أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِشَىْءٍ  

It was narrated from 'Aishah that a woman who suffered from Istihadah during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was told that it was a stubborn vein (i.e., one that would not stop bleeding). She was told to delay Zuhr and bring 'Asr forward, and to perform one Ghusl for both, and to delay Maghrib and bring 'Isha' forward, and to perform one Ghusl for both, and to perform one Ghusl for Subh. أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مُسْتَحَاضَةً سَأَلَتْ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقِيلَ إِنَّمَا هُوَ عِرْقٌ عَانِدٌ وَأُمِرَتْ أَنْ تُؤَخِّرَ الظُّهْرَ وَتُعَجِّلَ الْعَصْرَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا وَتُؤَخِّرَ الْمَغْرِبَ وَتُعَجِّلَ الْعِشَاءَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهُمَا غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا وَتَغْتَسِلَ لِصَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ غُسْلًا قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا  

[Machine] Ibn Abbas used to say about menstruation: "You should perform one washing for both Dhuhr and Asr prayers, and another washing for Maghrib and Isha prayers." He also used to say, "You delay Dhuhr prayer and perform it closer to Asr, and you delay Maghrib prayer and perform it closer to Isha."  

كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ فِي الْمُسْتَحَاضَةِ تَغْتَسِلُ غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا لِلظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَغُسْلًا لِلْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ وَكَانَ يَقُولُ تُؤَخِّرُ الظُّهْرَ وَتُعَجِّلُ الْعَصْرَ وَتُؤَخِّرُ الْمَغْرِبَ وَتُعَجِّلُ الْعِشَاءَ  

[Machine] I asked the woman of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and she said: "She is in a state of menstruation." He said, "She should stop performing the prayers for the duration of her menstruation, then she should perform ghusl (ritual bath) and delay the dhuhr prayer, hasten the asr prayer, perform ghusl and pray, delay the maghrib prayer, hasten the isha prayer, perform both prayers, and then perform ghusl for fajr (dawn prayer)."  

سَأَلْتُ امْرَأَةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّهَا مُسْتَحَاضَةٌ فَقَالَ «تَجْلِسُ أَيَّامَ أَقْرَائِهَا ثُمَّ تَغْتَسِلُ وَتُؤَخِّرُ الظُّهْرَ وَتُعَجِّلُ الْعَصْرَ وَتَغْتَسِلُ وَتُصَلِّي وَتُؤَخِّرُ الْمَغْرِبَ وَتُعَجِّلُ الْعِشَاءَ وَتُصَلِّيهِمَا وَتَغْتَسِلُ لِلْفَجْرِ»
