[Machine] An Arab man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, give me permission to prostrate to you." The Prophet ﷺ said, "If I were to command anyone to prostrate to another, I would have commanded the wife to prostrate to her husband."
جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ائْذَنْ لِي فَلِأَسْجُدَ لَكَ قَالَ «لَوْ كُنْتُ آمِرًا أَحَدًا أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لِأَحَدٍ لَأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا»
[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, I have seen men in Yemen prostrating to each other. Shouldn't we prostrate to you instead?" He replied, "If I were to command someone to prostrate to another person, I would have commanded the woman to prostrate to her husband."
يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ رَأَيْتُ رِجَالًا بِالْيَمَنِ يَسْجُدُ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ أَفَلَا نَسْجُدُ لَكَ؟ قَالَ لَوْ كُنْتُ آمِرًا بَشَرًا يَسْجُدُ لِبَشَرٍ لَأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If I were to command anyone to prostrate to someone else, I would have commanded the woman to prostrate to her husband."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَوْ كُنْتُ آمِرًا أَحَدًا أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لِأَحَدٍ لَأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا»
[Machine] We were with the Prophet ﷺ during his journey, and he said, "If I were to order anyone to prostrate to someone, I would order the woman to prostrate to her husband."
كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي سَفَرِهِ فَقَالَ «لَوْ كُنْتُ آمِرًا أَحَدًا أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لِأَحَدٍ لَأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If I were to command anyone to prostrate to another, I would have commanded the wife to prostrate to her husband, due to the great rights that Allah has bestowed upon him."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَوْ كُنْتُ آمِرًا أَحَدًا أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لِأَحَدٍ لَأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا لِمَا عَظَّمَ اللهُ مِنْ حَقِّهِ عَلَيْهَا
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ إِلَى الشَّامِ فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ مُعَاذٌ قَالَ يَا رَسولَ اللهِ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ يَسْجُدُونَ لأَسَاقِفَتِهِمْ وَبَطَارِقَتِهِمْ أَفَلا نَسْجُدُ لَكَ قَال لاَ وَلَوْ كُنْتُ آمِرًا أَحَدًا أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لأَحَدٍ لأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا
اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ أَمَرْتُ أَحَدًا يَسْجُدُ لِأَحَدٍ لَأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا
[Machine] "I do not command anyone to prostrate to anyone. Even if I were to command someone to prostrate to someone, I would command the woman to prostrate to her husband."
"لا آمُر أَحَدًا أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لأحَدٍ، وَلَوْ أَمْرتُ أَحَدًا يَسْجُدُ لأحَدٍ، لأَمَرْتُ الْمَرأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزوْجِهَا".
"لَوْ كُنْتُ آمِرًا أحَدًا أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لأحَدٍ لأمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا".
