The Prophet ﷺ said, "There are three types of people whom Allah will neither talk to, nor look at, on the Day of Resurrection. (They are): -1. A man who takes an oath falsely that he has been offered for his goods so much more than what he is given, -2. a man who takes a false oath after the ʿAsr prayer in order to grab a Muslim's property, and -3. a man who withholds his superfluous water. Allah will say to him, "Today I will withhold My Grace from you as you withheld the superfluity of what you had not created."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ ثَلاَثَةٌ لاَ يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلاَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ رَجُلٌ حَلَفَ عَلَى سِلْعَةٍ لَقَدْ أَعْطَى بِهَا أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا أَعْطَى وَهْوَ كَاذِبٌ وَرَجُلٌ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ كَاذِبَةٍ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ لِيَقْتَطِعَ بِهَا مَالَ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ وَرَجُلٌ مَنَعَ فَضْلَ مَاءٍ فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ الْيَوْمَ أَمْنَعُكَ فَضْلِي كَمَا مَنَعْتَ فَضْلَ مَا لَمْ تَعْمَلْ يَدَاكَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ عَنْ عَمْرٍو سَمِعَ أَبَا صَالِحٍ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ  

"There are three to whom Allah will not speak on the Day of Resurrection, or will He look at them, or sanctify them and theirs will be a painful torment: A man who has surplus water when traveling but he withholds it form a wayfarer; a man who swears allegiance to an imam for worldly gains, and if he gives him what he wants he is loyal to him but if he does not give him anything he is not loyal to him: and a man who sells a man his product after 'Asr, swerving by Allah that he bought it for such and such a price, and the other believes him."  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ ثَلاَثَةٌ لاَ يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ ﷻ وَلاَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلاَ يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ رَجُلٌ عَلَى فَضْلِ مَاءٍ بِالطَّرِيقِ يَمْنَعُ ابْنَ السَّبِيلِ مِنْهُ وَرَجُلٌ بَايَعَ إِمَامًا لِدُنْيَا إِنْ أَعْطَاهُ مَا يُرِيدُ وَفَّى لَهُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يُعْطِهِ لَمْ يَفِ لَهُ وَرَجُلٌ سَاوَمَ رَجُلاً عَلَى سِلْعَةٍ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ فَحَلَفَ لَهُ بِاللَّهِ لَقَدْ أُعْطِيَ بِهَا كَذَا وَكَذَا فَصَدَّقَهُ الآخَرُ  

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: There are three people who Allah will not address on the Day of Judgement: a man who prevents traveller from the excess water which he has with him; and a man who swears for the goods (for sale) after the afternoon prayer, that is, (he swears) falsely; and a man who takes the oath of allegiance to a ruler (imam); if he gives him (something), he fullfils (the oath of allegiance) to him, if he does not give him (anything), he does not fulfill it. قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ رَجُلٌ مَنَعَ ابْنَ السَّبِيلِ فَضْلَ مَاءٍ عِنْدَهُ وَرَجُلٌ حَلَفَ عَلَى سِلْعَةٍبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ يَعْنِي كَاذِبًا وَرَجُلٌ بَايَعَ إِمَامًا فَإِنْ أَعْطَاهُ وَفَى لَهُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يُعْطِهِ لَمْ يَفِ لَهُ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are three types of people whom Allah does not speak to, nor looks at: a man who swears after Asr (the afternoon prayer) about the property of a Muslim, and he takes it unjustly; a man who swears that he has given more in exchange for his goods than he has actually given; and a man who prevents the surplus of water from reaching others, saying, 'Allah today I will prevent Your favor just as You prevented what I did not do with my hands.'"  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ رَجُلٌ حَلَفَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ عَلَى مَالِ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ فَاقْتَطَعَهُ وَرَجُلٌ حَلَفَ لَقَدْ أَعْطَى بِسِلْعَتِهِ أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا أَعْطَى وَرَجُلٌ مَنَعَ فَضْلَ الْمَاءِ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ الْيَوْمَ أَمْنَعُكَ فَضْلِي كَمَا مَنَعْتَ فَضْلَ مَا لَمْ تَعْمَلْهُ يَدَاكَ»  

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "There are three people whom Allah will neither speak to nor look at on the Day of Judgment, and they will have a painful punishment. It is a man who swears falsely by taking an oath on the property of a Muslim and deprives him of it, a man who takes an oath after the Asr prayer that he has given more in charity than he actually has, and a man who withholds the provision of water. Indeed, Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, will say on the Day: 'I shall withhold My blessings from you just as you withheld the provision of water that you did not work for with your own hands.'"  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ رَجُلٌ حَلَفَ عَلى يَمِينٍ عَلَى مَالِ مُسْلِمٍ فَاقْتَطَعَهُ وَرَجُلٌ حَلَفَ عَلى يَمِينٍ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ أَنَّهُ أَعْطَى بِسِلْعَتِهِ أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا أَعْطَى وَهُوَ كَاذِبٌ وَرَجُلٌ مَنَعَ فَضْلَ مَاءٍ؛ فَإِنَّ اللهَ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى يَقُولُ الْيَوْمَ أَمْنَعُكَ فَضْلِي كَمَا مَنَعْتَ فَضْلَ مَا لَمْ تَعْمَلْ يَدَاكَ  

The Prophet ﷺ said, "(There are) three (types of persons to whom) Allah will neither speak to them on the Day of Resurrections, nor look at them (They are):--(1) a man who takes a false oath that he has been offered for a commodity a price greater than what he has actually been offered; (2) and a man who takes a false oath after the ʿAsr (prayer) in order to grab the property of a Muslim through it; (3) and a man who forbids others to use the remaining superfluous water. To such a man Allah will say on the Day of Resurrection, 'Today I withhold My Blessings from you as you withheld the superfluous part of that (water) which your hands did not create.' عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ رَجُلٌ حَلَفَ عَلَى مَالِ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ فَيَقْتَطِعُهُ وَرَجُلٌ حَلَفَ لَقَدْ أُعْطِيَ بِسِلْعَتِهِ أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا أَعْطَى وَهُوَ كَاذِبٌ وَرَجُلٌ مَنَعَ فَضْلَ مَاءٍ يَقُولُ اللهُ ﷻ أَمْنَعُكَ فَضْلِي كَمَا مَنَعْتَ فَضْلَ مَا لَمْ تَعْمَلْهُ يَدُكَ أَخْرَجَاهُ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ سُفْيَانَ كَمَا أَخْرَجْتُهُ فِي كِتَابِ إِحْيَاءِ الْمَوَاتِ عَالِيًا  

"ثَلَاثَةٌ لا يُكَلِّمهُم اللَّه يوم القيامةِ ولا ينظرُ إِليهم: رجلٌ حلف على سلعته: لقد أُعطى بها أَكثر مما أُعطى وهو كاذبٌ، ورجلٌ حلف على يمين كاذبة بعد العصر ليقتطِعَ بها مالَ رجلٍ مسلم، ورجلٌ منع فضل مائه فيقول اللَّه: اليومَ أَمنعُك فضلى كما منعت فضل ما لم تعمل يداك".
