bukhari:6907 – ʿUbaydullāh b. Mūsá > Hishām from his father > ʿUmar Nashad al-Nās Man

'Umar asked the people, "Who heard the Prophet ﷺ giving his verdict regarding abortions?" Al-Mughira said, "I heard him judging that a male or female slave should be given (as a Diya)." 'Umar said, "Present a witness to testify your statement." Muhammad bin Maslama said, "I testify that the Prophet ﷺ gave such a judgment."  

البخاري:٦٩٠٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنْ عُمَرَ نَشَدَ النَّاسَ مَنْ

سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَضَى فِي السِّقْطِ وَقَالَ الْمُغِيرَةُ أَنَا سَمِعْتُهُ قَضَى فِيهِ بِغُرَّةٍ عَبْدٍ أَوْ أَمَةٍ قَالَ ائْتِ مَنْ يَشْهَدُ مَعَكَ عَلَى هَذَا فَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ أَنَا أَشْهَدُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمِثْلِ هَذَا

'Umar consulted the companions about the case of a woman's abortion (caused by somebody else). Al-Mughira said: The Prophet ﷺ gave the verdict that a male or female slave should be given (as a Diya). Then Muhammad bin Maslama testified that he had witnessed the Prophet ﷺ giving such a verdict.

I bear witness to the fact that Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave judgment about it that a good quality of slave or female slave should be given for it. Thereupon 'Umar said: Bring one who may bear witness to you. Then Muhammad b. Maslama bore witness to him.  

مسلم:١٦٨٣ – وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَاللَّفْظُ لأَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ قَالَ اسْتَشَارَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ النَّاسَ فِي إِمْلاَصِ الْمَرْأَةِ فَقَالَ

[Machine] Al-Mughira reported, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave a verdict in favor of a slave or a female slave." So Umar said, "Who will testify with you if you are truthful?" Muhammad ibn Muslimah testified that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ make that judgment.  

الطبراني:١٦٦١٩ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا عَمِّي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ أَنَّ عُمَرَ سَأَلَ عَنِ §الْجَنِينِ فَقَالَ

الْمُغِيرَةُ «قَضَى فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِغُرَّةٍ عَبْدٍ أَوْ أَمَةٍ» فَقَالَ عُمَرُ مَنْ يَشْهَدُ مَعَكَ إِنْ كُنْتَ صَادِقًا؟ فَشَهِدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَضَى بِذَلِكَ

[Machine] "Al-Mughira ibn Shu'ba said, 'I witnessed the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , passing a ruling regarding the compensation for the death of a male or female slave at the beginning of the day.' He said, 'Bring someone who can testify with you.' So Muhammad ibn Muslima came to him."

الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ «شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَضَى فِيهَا بِغُرَّةٍ عَبْدٍ أَوْ أَمَةٍ» قَالَ فَائْتِنِي بِمَنْ يَشْهَدُ مَعَكَ فَأَتَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ  

bayhaqi:16413 – Abū Muḥammad ʿAbdullāh b. Yūsuf al-Aṣbahānī Imlāʾ > al-Ḥasan b. ʿImrān al-Qāḍī Biharāh > Abū Ḥātim ʿAbd al-Jalīl b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman > ʿUbaydullāh b. Mūsá > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father > ʿUmar Saʾal al-Nās Man

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ heard about a case of a miscarriage. Al-Mugheerah bin Shu'bah said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruling on it regarding a bondwoman or a male slave. He said, 'Bring someone who witnessed this with you.'" So Muhammad bin Muslimah said, "I bear witness regarding the Prophet ﷺ on a similar matter."  

البيهقي:١٦٤١٣ – وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ إِمْلَاءً أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ الْقَاضِي بِهَرَاةَ ثنا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ عَبْدُ الْجَلِيلِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى أنبأ هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ عُمَرَ ؓ سَأَلَ النَّاسَ مَنْ
