[Machine] We came to the Prophet ﷺ while we were young. He kept us with him for about twenty nights. Then, he said to us, "If you go back to your lands and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is gentle, teach them." Suraig said, "And you ordered them to perform the prayer such and such times." Yunus said, "And teach them to perform the prayer like this and this at certain times. And when the time for prayer comes, let one of you give the call to prayer and the oldest among you lead the prayer."  

قَدِمْنَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ شَبَبَةٌ قَالَ فَأَقَمْنَا عِنْدَهُ نَحْوًا مِنْ عِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً فَقَالَ لَنَا لَوْ رَجَعْتُمْ إِلَى بِلَادِكُمْ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَحِيمًا فَعَلَّمْتُمُوهُمْ قَالَ سُرَيْجٌ وَأَمَرْتُمُوهُمْ أَنْ يُصَلُّوا صَلَاةَ كَذَا فِي حِينَ كَذَا قَالَ يُونُسُ وَمُرُوهُمْ فَلْيُصَلُّوا صَلَاةَ كَذَا فِي حِينِ كَذَا وَصَلَاةَ كَذَا فِي حِينِ كَذَا فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَلْيُؤَذِّنْ لَكُمْ أَحَدُكُمْ وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمْ أَكْبَرُكُمْ  

[Machine] We came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while we were young, and we stayed with him for about twenty nights or days. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us, "If you return to your families or your lands, inform them." And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was compassionate. He said, "Instruct them to pray such prayer at such time, and such prayer at such time. And when the prayer is due, let one of you give the adhan, and then let the oldest among you lead the prayer." And this is the wording of a hadith narrated by 'Aarim.  

أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ شَبَبَةٌ فَأَقَمْنَا مَعَهُ نَحْوًا مِنْ عِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً أَوْ يَوْمًا فَقَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنْ رَجَعْتُمْ إِلَى أَهْلِيكُمْ أَوْ قَالَ بِلَادِكُمْ عَلِّمُوهُمْ» قَالَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَحِيمًا «مُرُوهُمْ فَلْيُصَلُّوا صَلَاةَ كَذَا فِي حِينِ كَذَا وَصَلَاةَ كَذَا فِي حِينِ كَذَا فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَلْيُؤَذِّنْ أَحَدُكُمْ ثُمَّ لِيَؤُمَّكُمْ أَكْبَرُكُمْ» وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِ عَارِمٍ  

"We came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, being young men of a similar age. We spent twenty nights with him. He thought that we desired our own people and he asked us about those of our family we had left behind, and we told him. He was merciful and kind, and said, 'Go back to your family. Instruct and command them. Pray as you have seen me praying. When it is time for the prayer, then let one of you give the adhan and let the oldest of you lead the payer.;:  

أَتَيْنَا النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَنَحْنُ شَبَبَةٌ مُتَقَارِبُونَ، فَأَقَمْنَا عِنْدَهُ عِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً، فَظَنَّ أَنَّا اشْتَهَيْنَا أَهْلِينَا، فَسَأَلْنَا عَنْ مَنْ تَرَكْنَا فِي أَهْلِينَا‏؟‏ فَأَخْبَرْنَاهُ، وَكَانَ رَفِيقًا رَحِيمًا، فَقَالَ‏:‏ ارْجِعُوا إِلَى أَهْلِيكُمْ فَعَلِّمُوهُمْ وَمُرُوهُمْ، وَصَلُّوا كَمَا رَأَيْتُمُونِي أُصَلِّي، فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ، فَلْيُؤَذِّنْ لَكُمْ أَحَدُكُمْ، وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمْ أَكْبَرُكُمْ‏.‏
