that Abu Saʿid Al-Khudri said to him, "I see that you like sheep and the desert, so when you are looking after your sheep or when you are in the desert and want to pronounce the Adhan, raise your voice, for no Jinn, human being or any other things hear the Muʿadh-dhin's voice but will be a witness for him on the Day of Resurrection." Abu Saʿid added, "I heard this from Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ ؓ قَالَ لَهُ إِنِّي أَرَاكَ تُحِبُّ الْغَنَمَ وَالْبَادِيَةَ فَإِذَا كُنْتَ فِي غَنَمِكَ أَوْ بَادِيَتِكَ فَأَذَّنْتَ لِلصَّلاَةِ فَارْفَعْ صَوْتَكَ بِالنِّدَاءِ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَسْمَعُ مَدَى صَوْتِ الْمُؤَذِّنِ جِنٌّ وَلاَ إِنْسٌ وَلاَ شَىْءٌ إِلاَّ شَهِدَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ

That Abu Saʿid Al-Khudri said to his father. "I see you are fond of sheep and the desert, so when you want to pronounce the Adhan, raise your voice with it for whoever will hear the Adhan whether a human being, or a Jinn, or anything else, will bear witness, in favor on the Day of Resurrection." Abu Saʿid added, "I have heard this from Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."

أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ ؓ قَالَ لَهُ إِنِّي أَرَاكَ تُحِبُّ الْغَنَمَ وَالْبَادِيَةَ فَإِذَا كُنْتَ فِي غَنَمِكَ وَبَادِيَتِكَ فَأَذَّنْتَ بِالصَّلاَةِ فَارْفَعْ صَوْتَكَ بِالنِّدَاءِ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَسْمَعُ مَدَى صَوْتِ الْمُؤَذِّنِ جِنٌّ وَلاَ إِنْسٌ وَلاَ شَىْءٌ إِلاَّ شَهِدَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ

"I see that you love sheep and the desert. When you are with your sheep or in the desert and you call the Adhan for prayer, then raise your voice, for no human, Jinn or anything else hears the voice of the Mu'adhdhin as far as it reaches, but it will bear witness for him on the Day of Resurrection." Abu Sa'eed said: "I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

لَهُ إِنِّي أَرَاكَ تُحِبُّ الْغَنَمَ وَالْبَادِيَةَ فَإِذَا كُنْتَ فِي غَنَمِكَ أَوْ بَادِيَتِكَ فَأَذَّنْتَ بِالصَّلاَةِ فَارْفَعْ صَوْتَكَ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَسْمَعُ مَدَى صَوْتِ الْمُؤَذِّنِ جِنٌّ وَلاَ إِنْسٌ وَلاَ شَىْءٌ إِلاَّ شَهِدَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abd arRahman ibn Abdullah ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn Abu Sasaca al-Ansari, and later al-Mazini, that his father told him that Abu Said al-Khudri had said to him, "I see that you love sheep and the desert. When you are among your sheep or in your desert, call the prayer and raise your voice in the adhan, because I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'No jinn or man or anything within range hears the voice of the muadhdhin except that it bears witness for him on the day of rising.' "

قَالَ لَهُ إِنِّي أَرَاكَ تُحِبُّ الْغَنَمَ وَالْبَادِيَةَ فَإِذَا كُنْتَ فِي غَنَمِكَ أَوْ بَادِيَتِكَ فَأَذَّنْتَ بِالصَّلاَةِ فَارْفَعْ صَوْتَكَ بِالنِّدَاءِ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَسْمَعُ مَدَى صَوْتِ الْمُؤَذِّنِ جِنٌّ وَلاَ إِنْسٌ وَلاَ شَىْءٌ إِلاَّ شَهِدَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ

"I see that you love sheep and the desert. "I see that you love sheep and the desert. [Machine] Narrated to us Al-Qa'nabiyyu from Malik from Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman bin Abi Sa'sa'ah from his father that Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri said, "I see that you love sheep and the wilderness. So, when you are in your sheep and wilderness and you give the call to prayer, raise your voice with the Adhan. Verily, no jinn, human, or anything else hears the voice of the Mu'adhin except that it will bear witness for him on the Day of Judgment."

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ قَالَ «إِنِّي أَرَاكَ تُحِبُّ الْغَنَمَ وَالْبَادِيَةَ فَإِذَا كُنْتَ فِي غَنَمِكَ وَبَادِيَتِكَ وَأَذَّنْتَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَارْفَعْ صَوْتَكَ بِالنِّدَاءِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَسْمَعُ مَدَى صَوْتِ الْمُؤَذِّنِ جِنٌّ وَلَا إِنْسٌ وَلَا شَيْءٌ إِلَّا شَهِدَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

Abu Saʿid Al-Khudri told my father, "I see you liking sheep and the wilderness. So whenever you are with your sheep or in the wilderness and you want to pronounce Adhan for the prayer raise your voice in doing so, for whoever hears the Adhan, whether a human being, a jinn or any other creature, will be a witness for you on the Day of Resurrection." Abu Saʿid added, "I heard it (this narration) from Messenger of Allah ﷺ." (Using translation from Bukhārī 609)

لَهُ «إِنِّي أَرَاكَ تُحِبُ الْغَنَمِ وَالْبَادِيَةِ فَإِذَا كُنْتَ فِي غَنَمِكَ أَوْ بَادِيَتِكَ فَأَذَّنْتَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَارْفَعْ صَوْتَكَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَسْمَعُ مَدَى صَوْتِ الْمُؤَذِّنَ جِنٌّ وَلَا إِنْسٌ وَلَا شَيْءٌ إِلَّا شَهِدَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ سَمِعَتْهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

Abu Saʿid Al-Khudri told my father, "I see you liking sheep and the wilderness. So whenever you are with your sheep or in the wilderness and you want to pronounce Adhan for the prayer raise your voice in doing so, for whoever hears the Adhan, whether a human being, a jinn or any other creature, will be a witness for you on the Day of Resurrection." Abu Saʿid added, "I heard it (this narration) from Messenger of Allah ﷺ." (Using translation from Bukhārī 609)

[Machine] I see that you love sheep and the desert. So, when you are with your sheep or in the desert, if you give the call to prayer, raise your voice with the adhan. For no creature, whether jinn or human, hears the voice of the muezzin except that it testifies for him on the Day of Judgment. Abu Sa'id said, "I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, the words of the hadith of Ibn Abi Uways. And in the hadith of Ash-Shafi'i from Malik, from Abdur-Rahman bin Abdullah bin Abi Sa'sa'ah, from his father, that Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri said to him, 'When you give the call to prayer, raise your voice, for no creature hears the voice of the muezzin.'

إِنِّي أُرَاكَ تُحِبُّ الْغَنَمَ وَالْبَادِيَةَ فَإِذَا كُنْتَ فِي غَنَمِكَ أَوْ فِي بَادِيَتِكَ فَأَذَّنْتَ لِلصَّلَاةِ فَارْفَعْ صَوْتَكَ بِالنِّدَاءِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَسْمَعُ مَدَى صَوْتِ الْمُؤَذِّنِ جِنٌّ وَلَا إِنْسٌ إِلَّا شَهِدَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَقَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ وَفِي حَدِيثِ الشَّافِعِيِّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ قَالَ لَهُ فَأَذَّنْتُ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَارْفَعْ صَوْتَكَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَسْمَعُ مَدَى صَوْتِ مُؤَذِّنٍ

"إِنِّى أَرَاكَ تُحِبُّ الغَنَمَ والْبَادِيَةَ فَإِذا كُنْتَ في غَنَمكَ أَوْ بَادِيَتِكَ فأَذَّنْتَ لِلصَّلاةِ فَارْفع صَوْتَكَ بالنِّدَاءِ، فَإِنه لَا يَسْمَعُ مَدَى صَوْتِ الْمُؤَذِّنِ جِنُّ، وَلَا إِنْسٌ، ولا حَجَرٌ وَلَا شَجَرٌ وَلا شَئٌ إِلَّا شَهِدَ لَهُ يَوْمَ القِيامَةِ".
