A man came to the prophet and said, 'My brother has got loose motions. The Prophet ﷺ said, Let him drink honey." The man again (came) and said, 'I made him drink (honey) but that made him worse.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Allah has said the Truth, and the ʿAbdomen of your brother has told a lie." (See Hadith No. 88)  

البخاري:٥٧١٦حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "My brother has some Abdominal trouble." The Prophet ﷺ said to him "Let him drink honey." The man came for the second time and the Prophet ﷺ said to him, 'Let him drink honey." He came for the third time and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Let him drink honey." He returned again and said, "I have done that ' The Prophet ﷺ then said, "Allah has said the truth, but your brother's ʿAbdomen has told a lie. Let him drink honey." So he made him drink honey and he was cured.

Give him honey. So he gave him that and then came and said: I gave him honey but it has only made his bowels more loose. He said this three times; and then he came the fourth time, and he (the Holy Prophet) said: Give him honey. He said: I did give him, but it has only made his bowels more loose, whereupon Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah has spoken the truth and your brother's bowels are in the wrong. So he made him drink (honey) and he was recovered.

"A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'My brother is suffering from loose bowels.' He said: 'Let him drink Honey.' So he drank it. Then he came and said: O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! He has drunk honey, but it has only made him more worse.' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ' Let him drink honey.'" He said: "So he drank it. Then he came and said: 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! I gave him some more to drink, but it has only made him more worse.'" He said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Allah has told the truth,and your brother's stomach has lied. Give him honey to drink'. So he gave him some more honey to drink and he was cured.'"  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ.

[Machine] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, my brother complains of a stomach ache." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Give him honey to drink." The man said, "I have already given him to drink, but it only made him pass stool." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has spoken the truth and the stomach of your brother has lied." So, the man went and gave him honey to drink and he was cured.  

الحاكم:٨٢٢١أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى ثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَخِي يَشْتَكِي بَطْنَهُ فَقَالَ «اسْقِهِ الْعَسَلَ» فَقَالَ قَدْ سَقَيْتُهُ فَلَمْ يَزِدْهُ إِلَّا اسْتِطْلَاقًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوِ الرَّابِعَةِ «صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَكَذَبَ بَطْنُ أَخِيكَ» فَذَهَبَ فَسَقَاهُ فَبَرَأَ  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ» على شرط مسلم

[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Indeed, my brother is complaining of stomach pain." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Give him honey to drink." So he gave him honey to drink, but it didn't alleviate his pain. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "Allah spoke the truth, but your brother's stomach lied." It is narrated that Muhammad ibn Jafar told us, who told us Shu'bah, who narrated from Qatadah, who narrated from Abu al-Mutawakkil, who narrated from Abu Sa'id, who narrated from the Prophet ﷺ with a similar narration.  

الكبرى للنسائي:٧٥١٧أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَخِي يَشْتَكِي بَطْنَهُ فَقَالَ «اسْقِهِ عَسَلًا» فَسَقَاهُ فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقَيْتُهُ فَلَمْ يَزِدْهُ إِلَّا اسْتِطْلَاقًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «صَدَقَ اللهُ وَكَذَبَ بَطْنُ أَخِيكَ» 7518 وَقَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمِثْلِهِ فَسَقَاهُ فَبَرِأَ
